Comment:

Very nice man, although he tends to lose his train of thought often. It was good that he was a slow teacher though because it made it easier for me to understand, but others learn better different ways. Always respectful and helped when needed. Attendance was "mandatory" but he wouldn't penalize you if you only showed for tests.

I honest thinks this teacher means well but he always seems confused and forgets what he's teaching at times. He use to always say "Just do It" which use to always piss me off being that I'm not good in math and If I could "Just do It" I wouldn't need to be taught. If you struggle in math like me, he's not the teacher for you.

Dr. Wing is very kind and relatable. If you have good self-discipline, you will do just fine. He writes up a test review before each test, that is very helpful.

I attended two classes. You are better off taking it online. He gets very confused and tells you "well, you know, you will get it" then moves on. Uses very basic examples that are not from book and it doesn't help. If you are not good at math, I would recommend skipping the class and just going to a tutor. I honestly don't know how he's a teacher

very sweet guy, but a horrible teacher. He often gets confused when he lectures and when you ask question he gets even more confused. Attendance was not mandatory so I studied at home and only showed up for test.

Easiest math teacher ever. horrible at math and got a 95% in college algebra. 2 take home test, 2 in class test. all test multiple choice and 22 questions, only counts 20 so the other 2 are bonus. You wont understand a thing he tries to explain but hes an easy teacher.

Mr. Wing is a little hard to understand & follow, but he will answer any questions asked. He makes mistakes & you may have to catch it yourself, but no hw or attendance is required. If you know math pretty well, then I would recommend him, but if math is hard for you, then you may want to choose a teacher that is more clear & fairly strict

Also I'm not sure if its HCC rules or his but if you get below a 70 on any of his test you get one chance to retake and if you fail the retake you get kicked out the class. I had to take 2 retakes but I passed them the second time thanks to tutoring. And also his test are almost identical to the reviews so STUDY them!

He was a very sweet man, old also and couldn't hear well. He gave HW but you didn't have to do it at all it was basically just practice and if you did do it you got credit. I wouldn't recommend him if your really trying to get into math but your willing to go to tutoring and and figure out with someone else take him it's an easy pass class.

He's a nice guy and its an easy class. but he's confusing to me so although he tries to help and be clear its not very successful. He's very lenient and tests are easy as long as u can figure out urself. no homework, 3 tests.

Calc for business is the toughest class I've ever taken,but I passed with a C. Fill his green sheets front&back with formulas and example problems.Attendance and homework isn't graded just three exams with an optional final replacing the lowest exam score.He's a great helpful prof.But he doesn't give grades out.Becuz of him,I'm so happy I passed.

Nice old man....willing to help but unfortunately sometimes not very clear on how to explain himself or the problem...good thing he passes out a review with all the test questions... if you study the review than you'll pass the test... if you struggle with math then you will have to see a tutor n put in some time & effort...

Mr. Wing is an awesome guy. Even though it is kindof confusing in his class I'm very glad I took this class. Most people in class leave before the end of class and are very rude to him, however he is always nice. Multiple choice tests, awesome study guides. I reccomend him! He will go out of his way to help you.

Should be an easy A. 1st test is take home. Go see a tutor for help. 2nd test is difficult. 3rd test is Easy!!! Allows the "famous" green cheat sheet for exams! Book needed if math is not for you!!! I didnt buy the book. I just checked out a Business Calcs for dummies book and passed with an A!!!

Not the most clear teacher however he is a nice old man and he means well. Optional final exam and all of his exams are straight from practice/review tests he gives out. Take him you will have to work a little bit but an A is easily attainable if you are willing to put forth the effort it takes to get it. Highly recommend.
