WORSE professor I have ever had! does NOT teach you anything goes way to fast and talks so softly you can't even understand anything he says. you have to go to all the classes because he collects homework everyday and grades them. so even if you have your homework done he still gives you a grade for it. if you are not good at math do not take him!!

I found professor Ray to be one of my favorite math professors and for that matter math teacher i have ever had. Yes his writing is intolerably small and in cursive and he speaks softly, but he is an overall very nice man and he definitely knows what he is talking about. I have had him for two semesters and he is always willing to help if you need.

Prof Ray is most certainly the worst instructor I've had in both high school and college thus far. He speaks quietly, writes in small illegible cursive, and finds even the most rudimentary communication to be unattainable. Homework is graded harshly: He has no concept of partial credit. Take this class at your own risk.

This guy is very hard to understand in class, if you ask for clarification in class he explains it in math terms you dont understand and he is very arrogant but he does give PLENTY OF NOTES to help you pick up wut you couldnt in class! I wouldnt recommend this guy for anyone thats not a math major that is looking for a challenge.

so he is a little hard to learn from but I'm bad at math so I never understood anyway but after the midterm I realized I had a D i went to his office hours everyday before class & he helped me with homework. At the end of the semester I thought I was going to fail.he gave me a C, if you show effort he's willing to help. im taking him again next sem

Do not take this professor. He is impossible to understand and expects perfection in your work. He'll take off points even if you get the right answer but didn't show a step along the way. points gathered from starting the probelm to finish...you could end up with the same numbers and answer but have a -3 instead of 3 and get ZERO credit for that problem...also writes small and in cursive; extremely hard to read..operates like a robot..lacking people skills..he is just ridiculous, i'd NEVER EVER take him again.

He is a difficult person to learn from, but the class itself is pretty easy. Homework load was very light and tests are very well spread out. He is very particular on tests and homework grading, so if you watch out for stupid mistakes, you should be fine. If I could take him again I would because I know how he is.

if you are looking for a GPA killer, take any class taught by him! for a 100-level class, it was rediculosly HARD and i have taken 2 other maths and i am going to be lucky to pass this class! He is so rude and ignorant to you, please save your self and having to use a D/F repeat on this class, just take someone else!
