Prof Watson is passionate about his subject matter. The book you use is one he wrote and is very important, the lab is run out of it as well. Basically come to class, ask questions when you need help and you will pass. If you study at all you will get an A. He is easy going and very approachable.

This class was informative and would be hard if you're the person who isn't interested in it or doesn't study. I loved the section on all the insects!!The labs are great, especially when you get to work with a rotting pig carcass to learn how to determine time of death. Lectures tended to get a tiny smidge boring, especially when we about DNA.

Very intelligent and worldly. He can give you a new understanding on why civilization was established in the areas of the world that they are. The course also does an excellent job of tying together many of the concepts of biology. Going outside for lab is also a big plus, fun field experience.

Very easy class. Doesn't take attendance, you hardly have to take notes. Knows what he is talking about. Sometimes it's boring, but still, you don't really have to go to class to pass. Gives bonus point quizzes, very easy. Gives you the answers to the test the day before. Very cool!

This is the best class! It can get pretty boring but he gives you all the answers for the test the day before, plus if you show up he gives out like pop quizez that are 5 points but really really easy! Oh and he doesn't take attendnce. Great class and a pretty nice guy.

Good prof. The notes are all online. The tests have about 200 available points on them and you chose which 100 you want to do, so if you do any studying at all you'll be fine. The labs are fairly easy too. Don't bother buying the book - you'll never open it.

The labs are hard work sometimes, but the tests are great. He lets you choose from a bunch of questions (essay, multiple choice, definitions)and you can answer the ones you know! How cool is that!
