LOVED THIS CLASS! If you are organized and work a minimum, you'll get great grades. Take notes in class and do the readings. Everything is interesting. The class is interactive, the prof keeps people awake and interested. Interesting topics. I learned so much and had so much fun! Very helpful and sweet prof, fair and easy grading.

The readings are interesting, but I had higher expectations for the class than were met. He is smart and has good intentions, but his lectures rarely cover the readings, and there is a big workload. Also, the tests seem to cover information that isn't necessarily pertinent to an understanding of the overall course.

I took professor Minn last semester and had mixed experiences in his course. He is a fantastic lecturer but course readings are lengthy and a major time commitment. He seemed to want to stress that his courses are not easy, but rather, require a lot of time. NOT great for an elective!

Pierre is an incredibly nice and he is also brilliant. Whoever said he didn't know the material doesn't know their stuff; this guy can ramble off bibliographies till the cows come home. Interesting, easy and smart. Take his class.

His ego supercedes his intelligence. I really dislike this guy. He is very smug and uses a sesame street approach to teaching: dummy down the concepts and tell a lot of entertaining stories to obscure the fact that he really does not know the material. I would have expected a more experienced prof to teach 227, especially given McGill's reputatio
