Very nice lady who will do her best for you to do well in her course. Due to language barriers it was sometimes hard to follow, but it makes you listen more and therefore pay more attention. Overall a very good class.

Very helpful, always have office hoursextra help outside lectures. Always replies emails about questions. As long as you put in some time, you will do very well. Very clear lectures. Would take more courses with her.

What she taught in class and what showed up on the test seemed to be in different worlds. Hard to understand and difficult to follow. She's really nice and obviously means well, it just doesnt pay off.

Prof Li is just absolutely useless. Language/accent barrier is massive. Doesn't clearly explain material, just does confusing examples. Often makes mistakes on board which hinders understanding, caught by students not her. It is unfortunate she is the only professor for linear algebra. Avoid if possible. Coming from 4.0 student in 1st yr Calculus.

She is very kind, and tries to help students as much as possible. Math is tricky subject, and so her lectures could still be confusing. That said, she was MUCH better than the other prof teaching the course. I recommend taking her classes.

No matter what is declared by previous commentators, being taught by Ping Li is an enjoyable experience. Her command of English is poor, but one easily overcomes her accent in a few lectures. Her command of mathematical language, however, is sufficient for her purposes. Her humour was charming. Pay attention, take interest, and you will learn much.

Ping Li has totally enlightened my first year experience at university. Her dedicated "Quote of the Week" inspires us all to always attend her 8:30 classes no matter what the circumstances are. I shall never forget her never-ending attempts to be humorous, in which she fails miserably. She should learn how to spell "hexagon". Ping Li FOR THE WIN!
