Comment:
If you wrote that this man is "cute," you're not evaluating the instructing. Harre's student evaluations are equally unprofessional. No constructive criticism offered, assignments are vague, the grading policy a mystery. He likes to talk about the attractiveness of female students...probably the same ones that say he is "cute." Time to retire.

What bothered me about him is because I did not vocally participate in class, he gave me a D on one of my papers to try and "wake me up". I don't see how a paper with proper grammar, and supported arguments is a D paper. Maybe the paper wasn't brilliant, but, there is now way it was worse than at least a C. The prof abused his power...

Harre was horrible and pretentious and joked about how he loved to eat lamb. "I love lamb" and called some of my favorite writers, "that San Francisco crowd" as if he were hot crap

His stories were funny, but he is becoming senile and cannot answer questions b/c he is too deaf to hear them. Not a pleasant experience considering he couldn't explain what he was talking about and his tests were hard (and I have a 3.87 so I am not dumb.)

Cute little British man! He's hilarious and probably the most gifted and intelligent prof at AU. He knows the material well enough to make it understandable to students with little or no background in philosophy. Only 2 tests so don't slack on those, but they're easy if you stay awake in class.

Smartest professor at AU. Funny, helpful, brilliant. Only two tests comprise grade, so must study, but you learn so much and have fun. AU is so lucky to have him.

God's to AU. AMAZING. I've taken four courses with him and have never felt even slightly bored with his lectures. He's not very hard, but you have to show enthusiasm and interest. He's hilarious too.
