She has a thick accent, but I didn't have a problem with it. Very animated in class. Make sure you have a good group, because all of your homework is with them. Get things done early to be able to ask questions. Quizzes and test were easy. If you are having problems GO SEE HER! Always in her office to help. She is super sweet.

the professor is nice. she is clear and helpful. i started the class late. the professor is more than helpful. if you did well in the Discussion and the final group project you would get the A. i am not could at writing so it is why i got a B

Agreed with everyone else. 2 years at Rosen and this is the worst professor of them all. Teaching leadership? What a joke!!! She can't mange webcourses, can't setup assignments correctly or even do a spell check one in a while. Avoid!

Please avoid taking this professor at all costs. Out of 4 yrs at UCF this was the most unprofessional course I have taken, especially online. Since Day 1 her instructions have contradicted itself due to copying and pasting from previous classes. Links didn't work until told by numerous students to fix it. Some discussions still do not have grades

She is extremely unorganized. She might be able to teach a face to face class better. DO NOT TAKE HER ONLINE. Everyone was confused, I don't think she knows how to work with webcourses so she would think we could see things that we really couldn't. No places to turn in assignments and did not respond to emails efficiently.

Do not take this professor for an online course. She does not speak English very well, so it translates terribly for a solely-online class. There is no clear direction for her numerous assignments, and I feel everyone scrambling to understand what we're supposed to be doing. With so many assignments, it's difficult and flustering.

She is super sweet, but all over the place. Yes, she doesn't have great English but if you ask her in private she will help you. She does need a TA to help her. Great ready for group projects and make them count.

Class had its pros and cons. Pros: Dr. Chen was very nice, gave tons of extra credit, was an easy grader, and group work/discussions were actually nice. Cons: Sometimes hard to understand, assignments confusing at times, and class was all but POINTLESS. If you can take her entirely online, do it.

She is Chinese which means her English isn't that good. I could barely understand her but i took the mixed mode class so i only saw her once a week. Everything is online, quizzes, tests, bi-weekly discussions and one group project/presentation. A lot of work but easy.

Dr. Chen does not speak or write English well and her syllabus and assignments are a mess of mistakes. Still, HW and tests were easy, and all test questions are pretty much covered in PowerPoint notes. Book is needed for HW. Ask questions and you'll be fine. EC is avail, but you likely won't need it. Got an A. I would only take her online.

assignments made no sense and were not clear at all. lost most of the class.be prepared to teach yourself because you will learn nothing if you just show up to class and listen to her lecture. nice lady as a person, not the teaching style that I like or that I'm used to. Super easy. Takes attendance 8 times a semester. But TONS of extra credit to make up for it. I missed 4 attendance grades, but made it all back in extra credit. Tests are fairly hard, but my grade went from a C- to a B+ because of extra credit. Def recommend!

She LOVES her students and makes it as easy as possible to pass - loads of extra credit. Her English is difficult to understand at first. One big project - do it at the beginning of class to get it over with. Not much book use. I recommend.

Gives out TONS of ex. credit. Test r str8 from her slides. Kind of hard to understand. Not clear on directions, assignments aren't hard just a lot of work. Does take attendance. Overall ez class, just time consuming.
