Although She is very knowledgable/ classy She kind of starts to teach her class as if you were already in a business setting which I thought was way too extra for being a beginning class. She also makes you participate in front of the class a lot. What you do is you read chapters and discuss the following day. She makes you write papers a lot too

The class was pretty easy, just a lot of homework and quizzes, every 2 chapters there will be a quiz and every other chapter you have to write a page or two for homework, all lecture is readed through powerpoints on blackboard. some groupworks, all test are multiple choice, it wasn't too hard just very boring.

Comment:

Ms. Rogers is a great teacher. I fell in love with Int. Business because of her and her quirky stories. If you are lazy and want an easy A, take someone else. If you are willing to put the effort and want to learn, she's awesome. I am now a I.B major at one of the best business schools in the country and it all started because of this class.

She basically thinks that her class is the only one you are taking. She grades very unfairly and also tends to start challenging you more or even hate you once you start confronting her. She tends to say she is open minded but this is not true! She is an old lady stuck on her own world and thinks she is the best business woman or the best teacher.

Great professor, except she always lectures about the fictional income inequality for women. PRO TIP - Take her BUS 156 and 115 at the same time, because the material matches up pretty well and you don't have to re-learn material. Pretty easy class overall. Just show up, and take notes and you'll have no problem.

FANTASTIC teacher! Extremely knowledgeable in business. Her life experiences enhance the lectures. You have to work for your grade, but class is taught in a way that you will benefit from taking it. I would take her again. The most useful information I learned in a class in 2 years. Prepared me well for the university level. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!

Prof. Rogers is an amazing business professor. As a non-business major, I was captivated by how simply she framed the concepts of the business world and the extensive real world expertise that she brought to the table. She is straightforward, but polite, and though there's weekly assignments, their purpose is FAR from busy work. I'd take again!

Rogers is rad. She is there for you to pass and do your best. She'll put in time for you if you put in the time for her class. I have had her for three courses at Grossmont, and love her. She's been there and done that in the world of international business, she knows what she is talking about, and expects you to listen/do your work. Easy.

She the high point of my semester. The topics we as a class were fascinating. he was an easy grader and her powerpoints were straight textbook. There were essays on quizzes and tests, but the topic was quite simple and she graded a little less harsh than let's say a Calculus professor.

Mrs. Rogers is a great teacher! She has so much experience and knows alot about business. She is very organized and clear on what she wants. She is easy to talk to and understanding, but she doesn't really accept late homework. Easy homework and the quizzestests aren't so difficult. Just do what she asks and you'll get an A.

Very organized and really knows her stuff. I enjoyed taking this course with her. The workload is manageable and easy to follow along, as long as you do what is required, you will pass. The only part I dreaded in this class was the weekly Learn Smart assignments.

I took her class last semester and liked it. She gave very clear instructions and was very organized with the syllabus in telling us when every assignment was due before hand. I read and did all of the homework and studied for each test and got 100%. She also offers some extra credit assignments. She is very nice and a great teacher.

She is a fantastic teacher. She has many years of experience in international business, so don't expect an idiot teacher like most community college ones. This professor assings a chapter to read... and then gives you homework to complete. The following class she lectures on that chapter. Feels pointless to go to class and listen to power point slides you just completed homework on! Attendance MANDATORY.. some group work. No big projects.

Comment:

Useless, likes to assign difficult projects without providing any feed before next project is due. Entrepreneur class requires much more effort than higher credit courses. Tends to grade harshly for grammar and spelling yet cannot spell herself. Worthless course, Professor really in place enforce make work projects.
