Do group homework - graded for effort not right/wrong. Take detailed notes when he explains Excel projects. Math has always been hard for me & 210 was hard, especially the calculus, but highly recommend him! Print out all lecture notes. So helpful, especially as he can be hard to understand. He said book was needed but his notes were mainly needed

He's very knowledgeable about his subject and is always willing to help people. He has a very strong accent that takes some time to get used to. This was a pretty easy class. He sends out all the notes typed up and sends out plenty of review materials for the tests. He assigns group homework throughout the semester too

I love this man! He is such a great professor and clearly explains the material, although he has a strong accent. Once you learn his accent, the class is fun and Professor Cao is awesome. Take him!

I've always struggled greatly in any kind of math, but Dr. Cao gives such wonderfully clear explanations that I was amazed at how well I could understand the work and do good on the tests! He explains it like he's actually used it in "real life", unlike most math teachers I know, ha ha. I didn't think his accent was a hindrance at all.

He let me makeup a test I missed and didn't even take off points for taking it late. The examples in class are very thorough and if you write them all down, you shouldn't have much trouble on the tests. However, the first part of his tests are multiple choice, so read the first few pages of every chapter.

Great professor. Accent is a little bit tough at first but you get used to it. Tests arnt too bad if you pay attention in class. He gives you all the formulas which helps alot! Didnt really use book but it helps. For 205 he is the best to take.

Jordan is great! Don't be afraid to take him because of his accent - it won't bother you after a week. If you take good notes in class you will do well on the tests. He gives you the formulas on the tests so you just need to remember how to use them. Also take good notes when he goes over the Excel assignments - can be difficult to do without them.

Great professor! Very organized & provides good examples. The Excel assignments were good too b/c that is the kind of stuff we will be doing out in the business world. He is difficult to understand at first but you get used to it. He always smiles and cracks jokes. The hardest part of his tests are the multiple choice questions. Know how to apply!

Sort of out-there topics and his english is a little rough, but a GREAT professor. Go to class, sit in the front, pay attention and you will be fine. Extra Credit opportunities for going to class and the tests/ out of class excel sheets are not tough. I made a B, little effort.

It is difficult to understand him at first, but you get used to his accent. He is really funny and will make you laugh in class. His test are pretty easy if you study. He gives you a study guide before the test. Go to class and pay attention and you should have no problem getting an A or B. I would definitely recommend taking this class.
