I very much like this professor. Most significantly, his course is very well organized. His exams reflect the material you're assigned to study and he makes it easy to learn. He is also very available outside of class, even helpful outside of his regular office hours.

First off, he's a great guy that cares about his students very much. He doesn't want to deter students from engineering so he helps everybody to succeed. Doesn't talk very loud so don't sit in the back. Other than that his lectures are very helpful, clear, and he uses great examples. I hope I have him for another class.

The two write-ups are graded extremely easily. If you put in time and it shows you will get a 100%. Qing Ming is my BOY! He actually cares about the class and while his lectures could be dry and a little hard to follow if he uses powerpoint, I loved the class. Just make sure you understand the homework for the tests.

His accent and mumbling make it very very hard to follow but when you can he makes alot of sense. Class was very easy so it was easy to just ignore him and do book problems

I really had a hard time understanding his accent. He mumbles, and most of his words are indistinguishable from one another. Had to follow along in the textbook during lecture to have any hope of understanding what he was talking about. Homework wasn't too bad. My inability to understand did curtail my desire to go to class though.

Qing-ming is the man. I dont understand his low rating. He really cares about the students doing well ,and wants to give out A's. his tests are pretty easy, and he tries to give out as much info about them as possible. He is very approachable and fair. I would recommend him to anyone taking Engr0135. I hope I can have him as a professor again.

Definately take this teacher if you can. If you actually do the homework the exams are very easy, even though the homework takes some time. Tells you exactly what problems are on every exam to make it even easier.

great prof that actually wants to teach. go to class, you'll learn more than reading book. assigns a ton of homework, but you will learn circuits well after doing it. very approachable, even outside of office hours. negative comments are silly-definitely from people who didn't even try. take class with this guy if you actually want to learn

A very nice professor. He brings the Chinese education machine to his lectures. He is very good at explaining the material, but the homework is on the difficult and time consuming side. He is also very helpfull outside of class, ask him for a recomendation letter any time.

Good professor other than the fact that he should demand a new book. The book sucks and the HW is impossible. He gives some decent ex.'s, but still nowhere close to as hard as the book. He posts solutions, so if the homework is that hard, don't bother. It's useless anyways, the exams are a lot easier and don't throw in stupid twists.

An extremely friendly man, I'd like to echo that he wants all students to succeed. I enjoy his class, but yes he is very hard to understand at times. He needs to stop writing at the very bottom of the board because not all students can see it from the back of the room. It would be much easier if there were half as many students in two separate classes. I have to recommend him though, he is a very good professor, once you get used to his accent and teaching style.

probably will repeat this class. concepts don't seem to difficult until have to recreate on test/quiz. no clue where diff eq's come from, and shouldn't be in a class with that unless necessary to have diff eq before hand. good guy

Probably the best teacher Ive had so far.Yeah its hard to understand him at first, but after a couple of classes you begin to understand his accent.Very helpful in office hours and his practice exams are practically a copy of the test.Likes to make jokes and if you catch them, they are pretty funny.
