I really enjoyed this class. The text was interesting and enjoyable to read. The instructor included videos to watch that, although dated, were quite interesting. He also included two extra credit papers. I was only able to finish one but the quizzes are harder than expected. Read the textbook!

Very great instructor and I was a little nervous about an online class but as long as you do the reading and discussion then the quizzes every other week are easy as well as multiple choice with 2 chances. Very pleased with his feedback and clear grading criteria! Would highly recommend because you can learn a lot in this class!

I took his online class and he was very easy going! I would definitely recommend having him! You have to read the textbook to pass the class, discussions weren't simple, and quizzes every other week. Cool class overall!

You have to do the reading, or you will not pass the quiz. Discussions are easy, participation matters. Fairly easy A.

I took the online course and the syllabus and class expectations were laid out perfectly. Easy to understand when assignments are due. The only downfall is you have no clue what sections to study for on the quizzes, so make sure you study and take notes on all aspects of the chapters. This teacher is good!

Teacher left very little feedback, and failed to answer questions in his emails. Dropbox times for assignments were not consistent with due dates in the syllabus. I would probably have loved this class with another teacher.

Instructor didn't participate much with class; only effort he extended was grading assignments, but he'd take his time posting grades. Extremely easy class, but boring. It's a lower-level class, so expect to go brain dead having to interact with the other students in the discussion forums. Just trudge through it to get your A and move on...

Avoid him if possible. He has very strict guidelines about "attendance"and knit-picks papers but it takes days, if ever, for him to email you back. Discussion topics are limiting, uncreative and poorly written. His syllabus was recycled from last year and wasn't even updated. If he expects so much effort from us he should at least pretend to try.

I took this class online and although it was easy, I felt like it was a waste of tuition. This class consists mostly of reading the text and responding to questions. The teacher was basically non existent and provided little to no feedback on most assignments. However, he did respond promptly to emails. Easy class, but needs teacher participation!

Expectations are clearly set in the syllabus, and build up throughout the course to the final paper. Professor was great with feedback, and answered questions quickly. The quizzes were sometimes challenging, so you have to study. Overall a great course!

I have Gordon for an online Human Development class. Very clear, easy to follow syllabus. Expectations are high, lots of reading & discussion (writing). The quizzes are challenging. He responds quickly to emails & is very helpful. Definitely recommend this class!

I had him for the online Human Development class. What I liked best was that he had us build up to writing the final paper in the form of assignments. One week we submitted the outline, the next the bibliography. It was a well-structured class.

I took the online course and really liked it, though the subject isn't really my thing. The book was interesting enough and the professor was responsive, though occasionally slow at grading. My only really negative comment is that the quizzes are super awful. They are 25 questions, but worth 100 points. So, you miss 3 and you're to a B.

DO NOT TAKE the online class. It was a complete waste of time. Instructor mostly disappeared after the first few weeks, dropping by only to leave public criticism of students' posts; I assume so that we would know he hadn't dropped dead. Slow to respond to questions, if he answered them at all. Elaborate, pointless assignments, little real content.

He is very knowledgeable but very boring. I have him for 4 hours once a week and my mind goes stale, every class, at least half way through. Other than that, he's fair. Just try to listen and you'll do well. Without the book I've never scored less than 80% on his tests.

AWESOME! Took the online psy class. Though there was a lot of reading and assignments, but all wothwhile. The prof was very down to earth, as long as you don't make too many excuses. He is very understanding and fun.

My personal experience with this teacher was less than pleasant. I had an A about 1/4 of the way through the class and misread the syllabus (because it came up scewed up on my computer), so I missed one of the online quizzes, which made up a substantial proportion of our grade. I begged him to let me make up the points, but he wouldnt let me.
