I was sad to learn that Mr. Perry recently passed away. I took a creative writing course with him for an english elective my junior year. He was great and will never forget him for pushing me when I needed pushed. If I ever get the guts and luck to write and have a book published, it will be dedicated to him. Thanks Mr Perry for the inspiration!

I took Creative Writing to finish out my undergrad in Spring of 94. Great man and teacher. I am still writing, but just not as often. Mr. Perry was a great inspiration to my writing. I wish him the best. Take his class!!!

The worst class ever! How are you to learn about one of the most important figures in literature when your professor either cancels or lets you out all the time, yet you have a HUGE midterm and final?? Hmm....find someone better!

Professor Perry is great. I had him my first semester at LHU, and he told me I didn't have to finish the course because I had already earned an "A" for the semester. This was only three weeks into classes! It was great.
