He's sooo helpful if you don't understand anything. He's really fast paced, so be prepared to pay attention. He will constantly let you out early, I promise you, you will never spend an entire class in there with him. Great teacher, I highly recommend him!

Mr. Spake is a wonderful teacher. I really recommend him for students who want a good and effective teacher. His lessons are always clear to the point. He takes time the next class to review everything we have learned the previous class. His test are based on his lesson and there are no surprises. Take him and you will be happy you did.

Mr.Spake is a wonderful teacher. He is an effective teacher because he is always on time and prepared. His instruction are easy to understand and his homework are straight from class notes. Oh god... THE best statistic instructor!!! Very friendly, patient, and nice. His is able to shorten the lecture, make it intense, so u can leave early. Yet, u r not missing any key point. Exams are so easy, just like the Exam Review's q's. Easy A class, awesome instructor!

I was very nervous to take Statistic. Dr. Spake is outstanding and I felt at ease immediately. He does go as fast as your pencil can write but it's in spurts and you can catch up. Lecture is very short! Easy load, just pay attention and get an A. Great,Great Teacher. Thanks Spake!

I enjoyed Dr.Spake's class very much. He speaks quickly, but I always had enough time to take notes. He explains thoroughly and gives you the formulas you will need for the test. If you ask for extra help, he will give it to you. Overall, I would say he's a very nice man, a great professor, and if you need to take a math class, his is the best!

Comment:

Very good person, but not really a good teacher. He goes way too fast, especially on reviews. One thing that doesn't make sense in his class is that he teaches numbers in class but the exam is word problems that we have to solve in numbers. Take him if that makes sense to you.

Dr. Spake is straight to the point with no hidden agenda. Four exams with a final optional. Nice man, sometimes goes too fast. Reviews every section. Only need book for charts and hmwk questions that can be done that day in class. Highly recommend Dr.Spake!!!

one of the best professors you will meet. He is very helpful and nice man. I had to skip a whole week right before exam 4(the hardest). I went to the review session and I was able to learn those two chapters that I missed in a heartbeat. I aced the last exam and got a 98.6% in the class. You are a fool if you don't take Spake for Stats.

As long as you attend all his classes and pay attention, it should be an easy A. He is the best stat teacher ever. Even though he talks fast, it keeps you in line so you don't start drifting off in day dreaming. He gives time to catch up and ask questions and do problems as a class. As long as you take notes, homework should be easy.

I took stats last semester and had to withdrawal because i was not learning anything. This semester i'm getting an A, and enjoying statistics so much. Spake is an amazing teacher, and i feel bad for those who don't get to take a math class with him
