One of the worst professors I have ever had. I am naturally good in chem, getting A's in Orgo, and intro to chem. Got a C- here, and I worked VERY hard. She messed up my med school GPA, and many of my friends. And we're all smart, A students. You have been warned. (I'd stay in the A section.)

Rachel is really nice and funny in lecture. However, she is not very good at explaining chemistry concepts to intro students. She is very willing to talk outside of class but be willing to work very hard in this class if you want to get an A.

First off, Understand that I am a student who is just naturally bad a Chem. Racheal does offer plenty of time for you to come in, but her in-class explanations are pretty much cryptic, and I would second shes pretty bad at answering questions Dont take Envr. Chem just cause you think it'll be easier than regular. It aint.

Rachel is amazing. She welcomes visits to her office. When people ask questions, she immediately understands their confusion, and finds an example to clear up their specific mis-thoughts. People have said she's confusing-she does go into depth with her answers, and if you're just looking for the simple answer it could be overwhelming. She's great!
