Very nice grader, and very caring. Even though this class is everyday, I enjoyed going. Tests aren't super hard and she makes assignments fun because you can work with people in your class. Responds to emails very fast and grades assignments very quickly. (within a couple hours) Would highly recommend because she actually cares about her students.

Fantastic! Very caring and she is really willing to help students when she can. Prepared our class well for quizzes, tests, etc. While the class wasn't necessarily easy, she did the best she could to life easier. She's very kind and funny as well. Take her class!

While she is a nice professor, I did not feel that her class was as effective as it needed to be to prepare me for intermediate Spanish. She is a very lax grader but gives little feedback. The lectures dont help you really memorize the information. She would rather do quick review tactics and let you leave early than teach a full class.

Cortest was a really fun professor- a lot of the class time was spent playing games or little things like that to help us interact with the material. She isn't like some language professors who call you out in class or make you feel dumb for not understanding something- all in all amazing experience in the class, easy to pass if you try.

Most passionate professor I've had at OU. Cares about each of her students and makes coming to class enjoyable. While the Spanish courses at OU are a bit difficult, she does an amazing job at working with what she has and ensuring every student is understanding the material and excelling. 10/10 would take again!

She is a great teacher. She gives specific instructions for what is expected. There is an attendance policy (university set, not her) so you do have to go to class. Do the readings, homework, and speak in class and you will get a good grade. Hilarious person all around.

Señora Cortest was fantastic! Knows the material inside and out and was very helpful all semester long. Though she can get off track easily, she has no trouble re-routing the train quickly. 1010 would take again!

I had her for SPAN 1223 as well and I think she's awesome. She prepares you really well for all the exams. If you don't at least get a B in this class you either didn't try or you had a really bad Spanish teacher before. Just go to class and pay attention

Cortest is great. She does an outstanding job of preparing everyone for exams. She gives weekly quizzes over vocab and grammar. She doesn't understand technology well, so online homework is an issue sometimes. If you're a good student, you'll have an easy time in her class. I was put off by how people talk over her in class and misused her time
