Excellent Professor!! highly recomend him, if you are going to show up and do the work, if not don't bother you will not pass. He is strict with people chatting in class, which is appreciated. This was a really good class, Math B22, I learned a lot.

I took the course that was online hybrid class which you you mostly do everything online but still had to show up every Friday. During in-person hours he would go over homework & take questions which I thought was unnecessary but helpful to some people. The tests are in person & got to use a page full of notes. Sad to see him go. Good professor

The course I took with Professor Espericueta was an online hybrid class, meaning you mostly do everything online but still had to show up every Friday. During the in-person hours he would lecture, go over homework, & take questions. He expects that you completely know everything prior your current class, but other than that I had a good experience.

Do not take his class he is a horrible teacher he doesnt make sense in his lectures if you already registered for his class just get ahead of everything and forget anything he tells you. you are pretty much learning on your own with his guy

The book is not required because he does everything online. The first 3 weeks he is tough because he expects you to remember every thing from algebra 2. After all he is not so because he explains a little more. He does everything online so you have the chance to get 100% on every homework and quiz. I recommend tutoring. He allows study guides.

Took his online/in-class hybrid Precalculus class. Was pretty easy for the most part. You still have to study for the tests but he gives you a practice test that is very close to the real one. This helped alot because you get an idea of what types of problems he'll put on the exams. I definitely recommend taking him for mathematics.

Good class. He gives a lot of opportunities to ask questions at the beginning of class. Expect online homework. His tests are much easier than the online work and, in my time taking his class, he gave his students the opportunity to improve their individual exam scores if they did better on the Final Exam. Would recommend for Calc II. Fair grader.

Use your syllabus and cross-ref with the textbook to know what you're doing. He will always help, but YOU NEED TO ASK DURING CLASS. He is brilliant about math and he moves fast. Always pay attention. He gives out study guides that are near identical to the tests. He expects you to know your math from Calc 1 and Pre-Calc. VERY generous grader.

Worst teacher I've ever had. He is extremely rude and does not care about his students. Most of his lesson plans are unorganized, and he continually makes mistakes while teaching problems in class. If he is the only person teaching Calc II, wait until next semester to take it!

He uses my math lab so make sure to buy the access card for the class. Its meant for online material. if you have to choose between the book and the access card, go with the access card. Make sure you know calculus 1 like the back of your hand. it will help tremendously.

Very tough course, expects you to know everything prior to entering course. I was here to learn the material... but no notes really given, nor is he very helpful in trying to understand why a problem worked that way.

I love Rafael! His class is so easy compared to other math classes. All the homework is online. The best part is that the quizzes are online to! I only showed up to class if I needed a help with a problem online. The final was super easy! He reviews everything for a whole week. I took him for all my math classes and loved it.

Not sure how he is for other math courses, but for pre-calculus 2, he was one of the worst professors I've ever had. He may be courteous with grading, but he is not very good at teaching the course. He would take half an hour to answer a simple question when the class didn't even last an hour. Your grade on the final is your course grade as well.

Mr. E is nice, but I didn't enjoy taking his class. Homework takes a lot more time than necessary, for just 10 problems in most lessons. The quizzes are just terrible. I had to throw in the towel because I couldn't pass them to save my life! It's a good thing he at least curves the tests though.

He's a genius but also a terrible teacher. His lectures ever makes sense, had to read the book to learn the concepts. He also doesn't prepare lesson plans or tests in advance so there is minimal review. Two midterms, online homework and 1 final. He does grade easy, he says you won't get a lower grade in the class than you get on the final.

He expects you to know everything from the last course. If you don't he says "maybe you should retake the previous course" instead of taking 2 minutes if any to explain what "i" means. If you miss a couple days be prepared to be completely lost upon your return. He gives 2 midterms which are not take home test.

This math professor is one of the very BEST at BC. He goes out of his way to help you and explain whatever you need to help you understand. The class is fast pace, allot of info to cover. I did not have math for over 2 years and I have a A so far. He goes over samples of every test question so you can have a chance to review before test.

While it is true the teacher does go off on tangents, the class was crazy easy, and this is coming from someone who hates math. He gives you every opportunity to pass the class, he gave two midterms both TAKE HOME, and on the final he allowed two pages of notes front and back. If you fail this course its on you

If you don't already know Algebra, do not take his class you will learn nothing, you do not go over homework, he teaches from the same videos you purchase from Blackboard, he goes off on rants about weird stuff in class, being vegeterian, or who knows what? Never had a grade lower than a C.He will even try to show you ex: above your level in a rant
