He's alright. Class was very frustrating- hard to understand at times and material on test is sometimes not taught in class. Although he curves the grades, the questions on exams are very much "out there"

Overall, he was a very solid professor. He gave you several chances to raise your grade - i.e. writing responses, long tests (only a certain amount of questions counted, so you could get over 100 points), and group projects. He knew his material and taught it well. I ended up with an A. I definitely recommend him.

Had him for Abnormal Psych. His tests are extremely long, but it helps inflate your grade. Pay attention in class to his power-points and read the chapters in the textbook and you will likely be alright on his tests. Usually lets students out a little early. Overall a good professor.

Very nice guy. Lectures are long and boring but attendance is mandatory. Must read textbook for exams that are SUPER long and specific. He does curve the exams by only counting a certain number of questions but curves lesson throughout the semester so you have to study to do well.

Three test+final. 2 projects, BOTH which are really easy! One: group project, lttrly just a PP on a chpter of ur choice and the 2nd is a 2 page papr on tht chapter. Test based entirely on TEXTBOOK and he asks really detailed questions. All exams are 100-200 questions BUT ths helps ur grade bc he only counts a certain amount & adds the rest as extra

MUST READ TEXTBOOK. He rambles in class. completely unorganized. super boring. the professor turned a class that I was so interested in, into a class I hated going to. tests completely come from the textbook, not his lectures. he does make it incredibly easy to get a good grade though. makes huge curves and comes up with assignments to boost grade

Seminar with Javier is actually a great professor. He isn't unorganized I think he's just more on the grounds of graduate school. You are responsible for your own work. I think he is pretty clear. He isn't difficult to understand people just need to listen. If you want a simple class that requires a paper and a take home midterm it's perfect. Just put effort in the paper and be thorough in your work. That's it. How it should be.

Amazing! Smartest prof in STJ. NO midterm, 1 paper. 1 presentation. Will help alot on the paper, and the presentation is extremly easy. you choose your own topic for both. i wish i would have taken him before.

The second half of the semester was MUCH better because students did a lot of presenting. When he lectures he is unclear. Doesn't stick to the syllabus at all and skips around a lot without fully explaining things. Nice man, but just SO unstructured, especially in the beginning. The midterm was unexpectedly hard. He made it seem like it'd be easier
