Curious guy but that causes trouble for the students. U think u r ready for his test with the formulas but u r actually not. If u dont really need physics in ur major. Avoid this guy! Nice guy but hated him as a professor. Test are 60% n only had 2 test, so got screwed big time.

Very smart guy. teaches very heavily from a math perspective. often times lectures are all proof based that you will never need. write down all equations, review the problems he tells you to, and do good on the labs and you should do decent. his tests are VERY difficult. really funny guy though

Very polite and understanding. Lab reports are very easy. Homework is not required, but absolutely should be done. Everything on tests is covered. He teaches heavily from a math perspective. Lectures can be a little dull at times. Overall, very good, some things I didn't care as much for.

Good guy, knows his material in and out. Throws a lot of Calc 3 material into the course which is a problem for all those who haven't taken the course yet. Homework is optional and labs are a breeze. He will use lab time as extra lecture time sometimes though. I recommend if you are good at physics. If it isn't your thing, you may struggle with him

THough he is a very nice guy and it seems he does know his material, I dont really like him as my professor. Im always confused in class and sometimes i have no idea whats going on. We were suppose to complete 10 chapters this semester and we only did 6. Also, he doesnt assign hw problems

doesn't teach anything.. very condescending if you don't instantly understand everything. Had a test where he "taught" us the material the day before, where he just listed a couple of equations and didn't explain anything. Then tests us as if we've been doing it for months.... one of the worst professors i have ever had.

di Cecca is the most inspiring teacher at Wentworth, and at any other school I've attended. His expertise in physics and math is fueled by a genuine passion for both the subject matter and for teaching. Tests are designed to make you learn the material. I took every class he teaches, and wish I could have taken more. A truly ideal human being.

What a great guy. It's obvious he lives for teaching physics. Even though lectures can get a little boring, he'll answer any question that you ask him and he's always willing to help. Labs are a lot of fun, and the tests aren't too bad. Would definitely recommend him.

Great teacher, hands down one of the smartest teachers at Wentworth. He knows his****. His tests aren't the easiest thing in the world but every once and a while he will offer extra credit on them that will help a lot. Very clear teacher writes everything on the board.

Raffi is a great teacher, he knows his stuff, tests can be hard if you dont attend class/dont kno the material, but he lets you use calculators and a sheet of paper with notes or examples, labs are easy/fun and can be really quick. Most of the time he is on the ball, but there are days or two where he isn't. His lectures are almost always clear and concise, and he is always one of the most helpful. However, he is very disorganized with his labs, mainly the due dates and the high frequency of lecture-labs. Great professor, but by no means perfect. I'd still recommend him 100%!

Great Professor. There were 30 students who did not have a class they could fit in their schedule so he opened a new one, and when he couldn't find someone to staff it, he tought it himself on his personal time (night class). Will do anything to help a student out.
