Comment:

Had him at UTD. Extremely fast-paced (finished one week earlier than all other sections). I already knew the majority of the content beforehand which is the only reason I did well. The stuff that I didn't know was difficult because I was learning it myself. He didn't explain concepts very well or clearly.

He teaches from book examples and unless he follows it directly he will get it wrong, then ask where the mistake is as if that was the whole point. If no response he will say the book is wrong and remind you of his 4.0 GPA. Doesn't stop people repeatedly getting up or talking quietly during tests. Can't ask questions because he doesnt know anything

i think his phd is a scam. this guy knows nothing. theres no a class goes by that he doesnt make mistakes. he looked at the material like it was the first time even though hes been teaching this class for yrs. hes terrible.

Class assignments are straightforward but the exams have nothing to do with the textbook/lab assignments. Professor does not offer help through email like he claims. Being a calculus class it will be hard material regardless of the professor, but the exams include stuff we didn't learn and a few questions on exams had incorrect answers.

Comment:

He is a very sweet person who cares about his students. Sometimes hard to understand what he says or means to say because of his accent or sentence structure, but it became a little easier after a while. Grading criteria was very straightforward, which was nice. The material was pretty difficult at times, but he is willing to make time to help.

He explains the content fairly well, and he grades pretty leniently. There is a lot of online homework, but it's easy. The labs are graded on completion. His tests aren't hard, and he gives a nice review before each one so you know what will be on it. If the class is several hours long, he'll give a 25 minute break about halfway through the class.

I personally loved his online course. I absolutely wish he was teaching 1376 this fall because if he was I would definitely take him again. He gives multiple attempts on all labs/exams. The midterm and final are proctored in the testing center but you get 2 attempts as well. I have test anxiety and that helped immensely for me.

You will need to finish the labs and WebAssign homework as well as read and understand all the examples in the online textbook. He is horrible at teaching, but you should at least show up to the review day before each exam. He will go over what concepts you will need to study to be prepared for the exam. Overall, he is a nice professor in Calculus.

This class was very time consuming. No interaction from the teacher. There were 4 labs and Exams. Then there was a Midterm and a Final that both had to be proctored. This is the only class I have taken that has not resulted in an "A", and I had to work really hard just to get a "B".

If your looking for a easy business calc class to take I recommend taking professor Raja Nicolas Khoury. Such a great class, I would take this professor again if he offered Calculus for Bus and Econ II. TAKE HIM, YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!

Many questions wrong because taken from test pool. Some questions had nothing to do with topics. Some questions had wrong answers but refuses to change them. Overall, horrible experience with no help or instruction.

Professor is extremely prompt. He will usually answer any questions same day within a couple hours if its during the day and if you email him late at night he will answer you by the morning. Extremely helpful. I was concerned since it was online but the class is so straightforward and if you ever have any problems he resolves it. Def Recommend

Some of these comments are ridiculous. I took his MATH 1325 class online and in 30 days during the summer and got an A. I am the absolute worst at math and knew nothing about calculus. If you do the work and invest the time (a whole lot of time, btw) you will understand the concepts and be successful. This class is not a freebie, but what is?

Yes, you have to do the labs. Yes, you have to do the homework. Yes, he is very helpful IF you show you are trying hard. If you want a babysitter he is not the one for you. If you want to learn he's very helpful. No extra credit, but you can redo the labs over and over. Exams are from the labs. Got an A but had to work at it. Duh!
