I normally am one of those people who hates students who put blame on the teacher for their poor performance...but this guy is one who absolutely deserves it. His class was just plain awful. I can't believe how much he ruined my interest in Physics. Worst experience at UCF yet.

I am not sure what all the bad reports are. He is a good teacher. It is unbelievable that we put all the blame for our mistakes to our teachers. At least, I don't.

this prof might know his stuff, but he cant relay that to the students. he needs to retire and ucf needs to adopt a new book because half of the book is not even in print form, its online(which he doesnt cover in class.) it is unecessary to put students through this type of stress. This class SUCKS!

This professor SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKS!!!!!! He should get FIRED!! He needs to quit teaching and get a job somewhere else. Also, he is sooooo boring, and his jokes are the corniest ones I have ever heard- he makes your grandmother's jokes sound like great stand-up comedy!! He needs to stop!

This guy is comical at how bad he is. So far 80% of our class currently has a failing grade on exams. He explains absolutely nothing in class and it is simply impossible to learn quantum physics on your own. He means well and obviously cares, but needs to give it up already. He's too old to change.

Definitely not an easy class. There are no calculators or formula sheets allowed on the tests when most of the material is based on formulas. Make sure hw is done well. The hardest part is that he teaches all of the theories but the tests are application. Application is not taught.

Class is good. Some people think it is boring since they do not understand what is going on. They shouldn't be students and should stop blaming instructors for their stupidity. I did well with not much effort (and I am not a physics major).

To the guy that posted on 10/28/04: Dude, you sound like a total dumbass. Forget engineering, and go back and take English class again. Anyways, Llewellyn is an extremely difficult teacher and I would not recommend taking him if you have a choice.

It was a hard class, and I do not like this professor, but it is possible to get an A if you do the homework and study hard for the tests. If possible, do not take this professor, but if you are stuck with him, know that there is a chance for an A.

Despite what the others said about this class, it was not impossible to get an A and the tests were not too difficult. However, it does require one to study for the tests and to do the homework that is assigned.

He's a good teacher and very knowledgeable. However his tests are nearly impossible to do well on. He gives no test review and is kinda arrogant when asked for help preparing for his tests. Do not take him if you have a choice. My semester has been hell due to his class.

His book and his class are very confusing. Tests are very hard, doesn't curve even though average of the class is in the low 50's. Not helpfull, and very arrogant. Never gives a review before tests. Even add things that were not covered on the test. The $30 solutions manual is a complety waste of $.

I think he was a good teacher, his tests were VERY straight forward. If you study, do your homework, and go to class... you will do very well. I got an A and I didnt try very hard. You dont have to watch the movies, he discusses them in class.

This class was really depressing. No matter how hard I studied, I got bad grades on tests and quizzes. There are really hard quizzes every class. Most people get C's. Other profs have take-home tests; take them instead. He is nice, though.

I took Physics in Film. His tests were VERY hard. I went to class all but one time and felt I understood the material but still couldn't pull higher than a B. Don't bother watching the movies. He'll show the clips he uses in class.

This class is not that bad. I took the physics in films course. I recommend it, its fairly easy and not too uninteresting. It's really not that hard and the demos he does are good.
