I, unlike most, really enjoyed Dr. Clack as a professor. He's a very tough grader BUT will mark up your rough drafts with things to fix only to better your grade! He looked at my rough draft 3 times and continually marked my mistakes and I was awarded the only A on the essay, and I received a B in the class. Most are lazy and don't like to work.

Honestly, I've never felt so defeated before taking this class. I feel like the worst student ever. Like I do everything I am suppose to but my assignments are never good enough. Please don't take this class with this professor he only makes you feel slow. If you already register just drop it. Its not worth it. Someone said run more like FLY AWAY.

Very hard grader, but knew the material that we used. Discussions in class, papers alone, and some group work. He will help you if you need it, and you can bring your papers to him for pre-grading and editing. I would only recommend him if you are passionate on learning, going to class, and doing your work/studying.

I know so many people complain about how difficult his classes are, but if you try really hard and listen to his suggestions, you will do well in his classes. Let's put it this way....I studied VERY hard in his classes and got a 100 percent on one of his exams. He pushes his students to reach their full potential and was an excellent professor.

Knows his subjects. You read a lot, and have to understand it, but I still remember so many things. Take the time to ask for help and he'll be great with you. I loved his humor. He's only impossible if you don't want to do the work or learn anything.

Clack grades very hard, but you learn a lot from it. Do not be afraid to ask him for help; take your papers to him before the due date and he will edit them for you and show you how to improve your writing. You can learn a lot from him if you want to. Go to class, read when he tells you to, and keep up with the work and you will pass his class.
