I dnt know why some students said Pro. Hayes did not answer students questions, actually, he is very good. He is always ready to help students. When some students did not get a good grade, they began to complain the teachers. Why dnt yourself work hard? Be respectful for your words, we are already university students.

In my opinion, he is a very responsible and helpful professor. He is very respectful to every student, and tries his best to help you with your professional career. Cares about your future, I am shocked to see some people made very negative comments on him, but I do feel he is one of the best professors I have've had at CMU.( I am a graduate studen

Most of the negative comments on this site are true. While I wasn't belittled, he did do that to a few students who presented work. Also, you have to teach yourself the whole class - he doesn't really lecture on anything. Why am I paying for this class (and his salary) when he doesn't do JACK? Avoid this prof if you can - he sucks.
