Very Sweet prof, and the class is super easy for a +sign class. You can finish the entire class in 1 week. He is up to date with posting grades on BB. All quizzes and exams are on CourseHero and Quizlet. Very tough grader when it comes to grading the exams so course hero can give you only a B on exams lol.

Comment:

Super easy class that satisfies your explorations requirement. Google quizzes, even if you can't find the answer the quizzes have no time limit so you can look at the powerpoints. Exams are 2 questions 700-1000 words per question, no time limits. I got an A by "summarizing" a couple of essays from coursehero.

Seemed like such an up front enjoyable class until I got my SHOCKING grade. I completed every single assignment and actually put in many hours of work and did so much research. I though for sure I had an A throughout the semester since I was keeping track of my scores and points. Then, I got my final grade and he gave me a C. WTH? uh.... be careful

You can look at the exams whenever you want. He will grade them before they are due as long as you do it within his time period. He is very willing to assist you in person but over email he comes across as snappy. Class work increases in difficulty in the end modules. Make sure to leave time for it! Reference course material and you will do well.

Switch out. This class is honestly such a waste of your time and you could take a different GE instead. You have to write four 1500 word papers and a group final at the end which seems easy but if you screw up on one, you're screwed. He won't negotiate anything with you and doesn't care at all about the students.

Vinod is a really nice guy and is always available to help either during his office hours or over email. The class is an easy A if you turn in the assignments on time but the assignments are very tedious and take a long time to complete

Grading for written assignments is ALL OVER THE PLACE. I suspect he had an angry grad student grading at times... some grades were outrageously harsh and other times were far more reasonable. Feedback looked like cut n paste of rubric/prompt with little or no personalized feedback to explain grade. Super stressful waiting for grade on final paper!

I took this online class because I was trying to raise my GPA this semester and my counselor told me that a lot of people found this class to be an easy A. Definitely not the case for me. Not an easy A at all, but I imagine it's possible. The exam essay questions aren't that clear and I kept getting docked for not including stuff.

Vinod is a really nice guy. He will help you outside of class if you need it. If something is due, turn it in! Even if it isn't complete, or you think it isn't good enough. He is encouraging and super-smart. He cares, but he's also realistic in knowing just how much time he's got to spare for you. He's also adorable, especially when he smiles.

Avoid taking the class if you can. Even if you do well on quizzes and written assignments, the essay exams will really hurt your grade. The prompts are ambiguous, they might look very straight forward; he wants specific answers that are not clearly addressed in the prompt. exams are 50% they will hurt your grade. Avoid the unnecessary stress!

You'll put so much effort into the class yet gain so little. Lecture materials are dysfunctional as learning tools, and grading is so subjective. Don't bother; the level of effort you'll put in to the class will greatly outweigh any benefits of taking it online versus on campus.

Do NOT take this class with this professor. Prof has ambiguous grading criteria, and is generally apathetic. Lecture slides are almost 8-10 years old and are poorly organized. One has a modification date of 952005. Class feels like it's being prepared and delivered by a high school student doing a class project with insufficient knowledge.

Took this class online this summer as a requirement to fulfill my upper div gen ed. Overall interesting and easy class. 2 written assignments (read the directions!!!) 4 end of unit quizzes, no final. There is an opportunity for extra credit. Minimal studying required, just pay attention during lecture and re-read the notes. Prof is very helpful.

Unclear on expectations. His grading is all over the place and inconsistent. I got a 100 on my first exam, then 69 on the second. On one of my assignments he deducted points and commented not APA format for references, but in another assignment I did the same exact style and got full points. Very inconsistent!!!!!

The worst online class I've ever taken!! I don't know what he expects from our essay and assignment answers. Felt confident after each exam and assignment and ended up getting a low grade. This class is a waste of time and effort.

Quizzes are easy. Assignments seem pretty easy but grades harsh! Exams seem alright too but grades harsh on those as well. Took this online class to boost up my GPA but did the exact opposite. Avoid taking this class! I put a lot of effort and still ended up getting a low grade.

Avoid this class if at all possible. This was the worst online class I have ever taken. The 5 quizzes are hard, and he is very hesitant to re-open them for you if you have technical problems. The 2 exams are extremely hard and essay question. He gives you examples of the 2 papers but if you follows those, you still will get a bad grade. Miserable.

Although there aren't any exams it's a very boring class. The professor is very repetitive and takes a long time to make a point. I took it online and during the presentations he doesn't really go into detail about things, but the quizzes ask very detailed questions so I didn't feel like his presentations correlated to the quizzes too much.
