Not a bad class, spent too much time on Hinduism. Christianity, Judaism, and Islam became packed into the end of the semester. Lets you revise essays and midterm. Not much homeowork. Have to pay attention in class and take down everything she says, which can be difficult because she talks fast sometimes.

I think that it was a hard class if you have a pretty full load already. Its not that you have homework every night, but you do need to spend a lot of time on your essays and studying. This class is definitely not a joke and should be taken as seriously as possible. Listen to what she says and do as much as you can to help yourself.

Sometimes it's hard to follow because she talks so fast, however, she repeats herself so many times that it works out nicely... World religions is a interesting course. and allthough she doesnt take attendance i recomend going to class it will help come test and essay time.

Dr. Rash is one of if not the best professor at York College. I have had her classes with some of the dumbest students in the history of school and she has and continues to make every effort to accomadate them. She truly is over qualified for York College and is one of few professors who can give you a glimpse of what real education is like.

If you're still asleep when you get to class, her perkiness will wake you up. She talks pretty loud, but it's a good thing. I don't like how she wants you to read into the religious texts, but it does give you a different look towards the religions. Not too much work and she's willing to help you. Sweet lady.

Rashkover is a crazy little lady that speaks entirely too FAST! But youll get used to it. No tests and as long as you take notes every class you will get an A. You have essays but you can take the info straight from your notes. Plus you can re-do your papers until you get an A. Which is pretty sweet if you ask me

Randi is by far the best professor I have taken at York College thus far. She is very helpful with assignments, grades fairly, calls me bubbie instead of hun and is very sweet. Not only is she sweet, but she is highly intelligent and is open to all comments. I love her.

Comment:

Hated her for the first month, then fell in love with her. Funny, SO helpful.. I never went to class, and when I did I was totally lost.. and somehow i wound up with a 3.5 in her class. TAKE HER, and don't be intimidated at first, you'll get over it and love her.. just give it a month or so.

She's very energetic, smart, and keeps everything interesting. Although you do take a good amount of notes, the work load isn't that much. Papers are well assigned and it's clear what she wants. Quizes are challenging but count so little it doesn't matter. GREAT CLASS, fun and interesting.

If you can get past her cronies, her superior attitude, her snide comments to her cronies, her way of making herself look better by making you look stupid, and not being allowed to have a different opinion than hers then you might like her class. But if you like thinking for yourself forget it.
