Haha, he's very relaxed, funny guy sometimes too. Does some homework problems in class; as helpful as can be in office hours. Watch out though class is just homework, one midterm and final. Don't mess up on the midterm !

His lectures are disorganized and he talks to the board alot. He will answer questions during class and work out some of the homework problems. He's also very helpful during office hours. Very nice man, too. Overall, he's not too bad-- I've been taught by worse.

Lectures are extremely clear and well organized. He follows the book's chapters but his lecture notes are pretty much his own work. His midterms are pretty much straight forward; so straight forward I still not believe I did not receive an A in his class. >_<

Friendly person. No HW. About 4-5 quizes, 10%. Midterm 40%. Final 50%. Recommend only If you already know a bit of math, will be an easy A. Otherwise, Could be a bit tough. If you have trouble with math, I suggest you take a diff prof, he's not very helpful. I literally taught myself from the book. Overall, an ok prof.

The most important thing is that you DO THE HOMEWORK and go to class. The quizzes are about once a week. Final is worth 50% but if you keep up in class you'll be fine. There was a lot of material for 208 so give yourself time to study it. I would certainly recommend him.

He is awesome. I cannot believe how easy calculus is to me now. He takes his time and simplifies the basic concepts to make it relatable therefore you can apply it to any problem. Do the quizzes and study you will do fine. He is also on of the most approachable professors at CalState...He will always make himself available.

I really liked Dr. Cooper. He is soft-spoken but really knows his stuff. He is not intimidating = good for calculus. It is VERY important that you try to do well on his weekly quizzes, which are not hard if you study for them because they are only 1-3 problems. If you miss the quizzes, you can end up with a poor grade. Go see for office hours.
