He is a nice guy, just a tad weird. Two exams, one project, and online instagram postings. It is really easy to slack off but just do it and youll get no lower than a B. Don't have to go to every class, but definitely show up it wont kill you. Exams are legit so easy you dont even have to study

He is ridiculous!!!!!!!! The most insensitive and worst professor I have ever encountered. He is also very rude and demanding of his students. He doesn't teach so expect to learn everything on your own and from the textbook. Honestly, I have never disliked a teacher this much and trust me, I adore teachers and respect their professions.

Possibly the worst math professor I have ever had. He lectures (ONLY LECTURES DOES NOT involve class) and explains the most simple problems and gives the most difficult problems on the quizzes and exams . Talks way to much how he was an awesome coach but sorry it doesn't have to do anything with math. I highly do not recommend him to anyone.

Warning! This guy talks way too much about sports and the only thing he does in class is do the examples from the textbook, which doesn't give variety for future problems. He was also obnoxious, would ask us questions and if we didn't know he would threaten to make us take out paper and answer it as a quiz grade!

I loved Professor Fisher, he was great! He teaches you skills outside of the textbook that is very helpful in general and for the final exam.I would recommend this class to serious students who are going to study the chapters on their own and do practice problems. He is a fair grader, although sometimes can be picky. BUT he curves well.

He's tough at times, but overall is a good professor. He makes the homeworks, quizzes, and first two exams, which tend to be more difficult than the textbook material. He does this so you can learn to grasp the concepts and trust the solution methods, even if they do not produce a nice looking answer. This guy will prepare you to ace the final.

Decent professor, but if someone better is open, take them. His grading system on exams is rough to say the least... (not listing exclud. values, etc). Likes to talk about sports alot.

HW and sometimes take home quizzes are impossible and not relevant. Tests are not so bad. Nasty at times, means well, I think. Treats you like your in HS, no txting, no laptops... Attendance very mandatory or he lowers your grade.

He's a really good professor and teaches the material well but in order to succeed in his class, you do need to study. In the summer, there were 4 grades: 3 exams and the final. I got low grades on all but 2 of the exams and walked away with a B+. Curves well!

Very arrogant and annoying. blabs all the time. however, if you do the work he assigns you will be fine. Multiple homeworks, quizs, and exams throughout the semester. Be prepared to actually study even if you took algebra in high school

He a great prof, take him. If you are poor at math, then this is the class for you. Although he grades the exams harder at times, he will BEST PREPARE YOU FOR THE FINAL. Tells a lot of stories to help motivate you, which are nice at times. If you go to office hours there's no way you wont get the material. Catch up and review days were great.

Total waste of time. Gives the easiest examples in class and then gives the hardest problems on quizzes/tests. Also expects you to do homework on topics that haven't been covered yet. DO NOT fill out the evaluation forms-he reads them right away and then sulks and makes pointed comments. Do your own studying and take the homework to the tutors.

I totally agree with the posters who say he's male-oriented and a jock. He tells a lot of stories about how great he was as a coach and isn't helpful with the math. He's also pretty condescending and tells up about how we are going to do worse on exams, etc. Thinks he's motivational, but isn't. Not a hard class, just annoying.

He's not bad at all. He sticks to the syllabus and expects you to do the same--make sure you hand in all hw and are there for quizzes and exams [and always have hw stapled.] Overall, he is very clear and asks to make sure everyone understands what he is saying. If you pay attention, you will do fine.

Not as bad as he seems-- A little arrogant but actually a pretty decent guy. Boring lectures, just does all the examples already explained in the book on the board but teaches clearly and well. Material is straight from the book, so if you pay attention in the class and take notes you won't even need to study.
