I have taken three classes with Professor Hudson and would definitely recommend taking classes with him! He lectures every class, so it's important not to miss or else you might miss something on the test. He gives 3-4 tests and you can have a page of notes for each one! I wouldn't buy the textbook because we didn't use it at all.

very nice and great teacher. good explanation of the concepts, great examples, and willing to help you. you will understand the class but read the book to get a chance to do well at the exams because those are really hard if you focus just on what you cover in class. enjoy the class and don't worry you will get a good grade .i recommend him

he is very difficult , and if ya re an international student don't take this class with him cuz ya will not pass it even if ya did as what the american student did cuz ur NOT. I will not get any class with him in future NO more. show work questions, very HARD no curve NO help.

Great teacher. He makes the class very interesting with stories and relevant examplesmovies. Pretty easy to get a good grade although his tests have questions that he doesn't go over at all. You get cheat sheet on tests which makes the class very easy. Definitely recommend taking his classes!

Very laid back professor. Almost too laid back sometimes and it takes awhile to get through chapters. Very helpful in understanding course topics. Definitely recommend him.

I have taken two classes from Hudson: FIRE 472 and 481 and I got straight As for both classes. However, Hudson doesn't know deep down for what he teaches. He makes students laugh to mask his limited understanding of the subject matter. He only reads prepared slides year after year. I believe he should not have been given a tenured position.

Hudson is pretty good stuff. he gives handouts for everything as well as gives examples for everything. One draw back is that his tests can be lengthy so if you aren't adequately prepared, it could be a tight crunch on time. But he mixes in useful videos as well as games to learn and keep it interesting. complains about losing 4/1 in overtime.

Got an A in derivatives with Hudson. Not an easy class, but not too hard either. Hudson is hilarious and makes the class enjoyable while making it productive too! Come to class, take good notes, make some good note sheets and be prepared to learn a lot of interesting stuff. Tests are not easy, but it IS a senior level finance course!

Probably my favorite professor at SCSU. Tells a lot of jokes, sometime they are corny, but it's hilarious. He makes the material easy to understand and is more than willing to help if you need it. As long as you aren't a Gopher fan and you're not from Iowa, you should be just fine.

Very good prof! His exams are a combo of multiple choice and problems. He lets you use a cheat sheet for every exams. His gives extra credit on exams if you write a summary of a film that you viewed in class. Awesome Guy!!!
