Comment:

Must come every class and don't be late or he will kick you out which means points missed. Not much homework at all. Makes public speaking easy and enjoyable. The best teacher by far! Learned a lot. Take chapter notes to get to be able to skip tests an recieve full points. People felt so at ease they shared many personal and deep stories!

• Simply the best teacher. Every day was like going to therapy. We not only learned but constantly practiced our craft. I took every one of his classes and eventually earned an AA in Speech Communications thanks to him.

He makes it seem like the class is an easy A but If your late or absent 2 or 3 times you will NOT get an A. HE was absent/cancelled class at least 5 times and let students out after 20 minutes. His class is entertaining and he is funny.

One of the best professors/teachers I've ever taken in my life! He is a loving, gracious, and helpful man that cares about his students. I would recommend all West Valley College students take at least one of his classes. He's a tremendous man as well. His aren't difficult. You will learn many life lessons in his class!

he's an awesome teacher always helps! dont be late -5 points each time and at the end of the semester if your not late you dont have to take the final.. not hard at all tests are a bit confusing but make sure you read and do what he asks for speeches and tests. other than being late he's an awesome teacher extremely funny!

Very nice teacher, funny, his jokes are sometimes corny but it's funny. Of course he loves to talk, especially about his wife (But who wouldn't if you love them so much?). If you DO what he says... You will be rewarded. Very easy to pass his class, got D's on 2 of his test, and still past with an A. Once you take him, you'll never forget about him.

A nice but very superficial teacher. His jokes and funny antics get old and boring really fast. Doesn't have a vested interest in students. Petty requirements can be confusing. He talks like its an easy class but its not!

This guy gets mad at u for minor things. I never ever text or showed up late for class. I chickened out from my first speech & he got mad at me wondering if I want to be in the class still. He thinks hes funny but is really corny. Randy Needs A MAJOR DOSE OF HUMILITY & MODESTY. Dont let him intimidate you. I recommend JANELLE PAYNE shes nicer.

Randy is a truly amazing man. He teaches a class on communication but you get so much more out of it. I've learned to be a blessing, be on fire, and be a love machine flying at low altitudes. If a cynical atheist who had a deep phobia about public communication can learn to be an effective speaker from Randy, anyone can. This professor has an amazing gift for teaching. Randy gave me a priceless gift: thanks to his instruction I can confidently and effectively speak to any group about any topic. Run, don't walk to this man's classes!

I wasn't so sure about taking Public Speaking, but Randy made me feel comfortable from the start. I loved his class and am going to be taking Comm 4 with him next semester! He is a really caring guy who really wants his class to succeed. If you give 100% you'll do well. Make sure you show up and do all the assignments.
