Randy is easily the best teacher I have ever had. He is extremely helpful, funny, and makes learning the saxophone challenging but fun. He is happy when you practice and do what you are suppose to, and he will only push you as far as you want to be pushed. I have learned more from him than I could ever imagine. He is phenomenal!!!

Randy is the best teacher I have ever had. He is tough and calls you out when you aren't working but when you work he is INFINITELY helpful. Top notch sax artist; top notch teacher; top notch man.

Mr. Hamm is an amazing teacher! I had heard horrible stories about him but don't believe them. He is the reason I am staying at Missouri State. He is tough and pushes you but if you practice and work you will love him. Incredible Performer also.

Randy will not teach you unless you work hard. But if you go into your lessons prepared and with a good attitude, it will lead to a better experience for both of you. He'll know if you don't practice. But he is very knowledgeable.

He'll work you hard (and sometimes talk on the phone at you for a portion of your lesson). But he knows what he's doing. He's a good player and a good teacher: not common.
