The class was decent, but it felt as though he did not make himself available to us. No tests but lots of quizzes that correlate strongly with the textbook. Clear communication was a struggle.

He is tough, no doubt. But now that I am in grad school, he was an amazing professor. He is more than willing to help students if you take the time to go to him after class. He does not want to nurse anyone through, you must put in effort and he will help you. I struggled in his classes, but was more prepared for grad school. He loves Biology.

terrible teacher. Talks down to you, looks at you like you're stupid when you ask questions. He called one student in my class stupid when he asked for help. His tests have way too much information. His tangents are ridiculous. He ALWAYS falls behind schedule and crams too much information last minute. I love genetics but he made me hate it.

A semi difficult class that you have to work for to get a good grade. Only real downside is that he lectures after all quizes and tests. You must pay attention and study to get above a C in this class.

He's rude, talks down to you, looks at you like you're an idiot when you ask questions. His tests have WAY too much information, and all the other biology professors agree that it is too much. He's a old Indian man that doesn't want to retire and stay home. He needs to RETIRE. Go away. His teaching methods are very poor, reading straight off slides

very very hard. lecture/powerpoint based. Memorize the power points and what he draws on the board dont pay attention to his random tangents he discusses. I studied about 40 hours for the last test and didnt even get an A.

He is a good teacher, but his test's are impossible. If you don't read the book your screwed. But, in all honesty, your screwed either way. He is a really nice guy, but he doesn't offer much help. We asked what we could do to study better and he said, "make your own questions." Zero help.

Best teacher at Lindenwood. Explains things thoroughly, at a moderate pace. Does more than just recite the power points. Seems to actually care about teaching.

Good professor. Most kids are dumb at this school, they want everything easy. Linden wood should be just a college, does not deserve to be a university.

His class is super hard, but in a way it's a good thing because it prepares you for the classes to come after it. He is generally nice, and easy to get along with. Laugh at all of his jokes and he will like you! If you show an interest in his class he will always help you. He offered his office hours for us to come in and get help before tests.

I'm in his class now... out of the 24 students in here, 7 are asleep. Nuf said... The only reason I have a good grade in this class is because my job for the past 2 years has been in the nutrition field. If it weren't for that, I'd be failing, thanks to the "riveting lessons".

He plays favorites, and does not like females. My answers could be identical to the favorites but I would get 0/10 on every one. RUN and never ever take any classes with him.

TERRIBLE professor! Gives better grades to people he likes.. aka Males. I worked my ass off and still managed to get D's in both his classes and I'm an A student. Doesn't test over things he covers in class, and is impossible to study for. Absolutely ridiculous

I graduated in '98. Went on to a reputable Ph.D. program in molecular genetics and a successful career in biotech. Rao's tough! But, if you want to stand on equal footing with some of the best and brightest bio graduates in the country, learn to succeed in his classes.

This class is impossible. Even if you memorize everything in the book you wont do well on the test because he asks completely random questions. He also loves to play favorites. Marks off some peoples answers and not others when they are the exact same. DONT TAKE

easily the worst professor i have ever had. i have had great classes with teachers from trinidad, no racism, but this guy really needs to go back to india. i can't understand a word out of his mouth and he thinks we should be vegitarians. horrible, borning teaching style. if this were a 0-10 scale he would be -3. soooo glad the class is over!!!!

He is a great man. He is a professor misunderstood. If you hang out with him and ask for help he is so willing to help you. If you show that you work hard he will pass you. I had him for cell, genetics, and biochem. At first he was so hard but after I got to know him you understand how he teaches and figure out how to pass the classes.

This class is very hard. I know kids that are passing but many are not. I study my everliving ass off for this class and I have nothing to show. Also he makes the students feel dumb when we ask him questions about things. He thinks that we should know everything. He is a very funny person outside of class. I do like his personality but I hate the way he teaches.
