She is a wonderful woman and a great teacher. You have to want to succeed in her class, she has very high standards and expects you to meet them or come to her for help. If she sees that you are trying she will do anything to help. I would definitely take a class with her again!

I always thought I wanted to major in Spanish until taking this course with her. She's very hard to understand and speaks very fast. It's like she expects you to be a native speaker at this level. I found the class very frustrating.

Although I learned a lot this year, she wasn't much of a help. When a student didn't know the answer she'd become upset. The work wasn't too hard but she was sometimes hard to understand. Only take one of her classes if you actually know spanish fluently.

I did just come out of 5 yrs of spanish in high school and I still couldn't understand her. Very difficult class, very difficult prof. Expects you to be fluent, is not helpful or understanding if you don't know something. I had to take the next semester with someone else. Don't take her.

I dropped the class. I do not recommend her. She expects you to know spanish like you just came out of high school. She never reviews anything, and makes you feel stupid. Everyone I talk disliked her. She is tough.

Intelligent, kind, and likable professor. Fair amount of reading and work, but not unreasonably so. Made class very interesting and enjoyable. Recommended.
