Dr. Penmetsa is a really good professor. He goes over good examples and tries to help people learn as best as he can. He also knows his classes are extremely hard so he helps out with a nice curve on most tests. Very nice guy too.

This class was boring. The material was not hard but it was so easy to make stupid mistakes. Dr. Penmetsa is smart but he does not know how to keep a schedule. We did stuff in week 4 and he never spoke of it again until the day before the exam. Project was a pain in the butt too. Got a 'c' in here.

This was a 4 hour course but it should have been listed as a 9 hour course. We had so much homework. We had to write a matlab code for each lab and write a mini novel for the results. No one got above a 19/25 on most of the labs. Tests were horrible too. I think I got a 'B' in the closs though.

I have no idea how I got a "B" in his class. All he ever does is lecture us on the course materail and derive equations. Homework was hard and often not relevant to the class. Exams were confusing and the final was really weird. Yet, I rather take him again, I am, than taking some of the other ME professors.

Class is very boring. He goes over proofs in class and then does examples. His exams aren't that bad and there is a curve on every one. The homework is easy too. If you get stuck on anything, just visit him in his office and he will be happy to help you. He tries make the class easy for non-MEs.

Great professor and a great guy. Dr. Penmetsa's extremely helpful outside of class and willing to meet with students whenever they need it. His classes are tough, but he helps out with a fair curve.

Very good professor. Lecture can be a little dry at time but exams aren't too bad, and he has a pretty decent curve to help out. He is always available outside of class to help and is very helpful in office hours.

Not for people who have trouble with falling asleep. His voice is so soothing in class... my eyes.. so droopy... Anyways... He cares about student's success a lot and is very respectful. I am an EE so i can't stand dynamics, but he has made this class bearable.

Did awesome all quarter. Very helpful in one-on-one sessions. Pretty good at getting the mesage across. Killed everyone on the final. I had a very strong A going into the final and ended up with a C. Mixed feelings on suggesting him to everyone else.

Dr. Penmetsa is a good professor. He is a bit confusing during lecture, but if you go get help one on one he's great! I'd highly recommend taking him, he tries his very best to make his class passable.

Very good professor. Lectures can be confusing, but he is more than willing to help outside of class. He encourages it. He sent me am email asking me to come in for help after viewing my homework. Not too many professors would do that.
