I was in his freshman seminar class, which included a bunch of field trips. However, be prepared to listen to him talk for hours on end about stuff that you literally read last night. He will ask for participation in class, but he really doesn't care what you have to say. Overall, very easy class despite the fact he doesn't explain assignments.

I took his freshman seminar class and had to pay extra for a class I didn't need and spend 3 hours a week listening to this man brag about how much he knows. He is incredibly arrogant and favors theater topics over dance. He won't bother to learn your name or tell you what to do for assignment. He give no feed back. Overall terrible experience!

I took script analysis for designers with Ray and most people in my class were extremely obnoxious and didn't do the work or pay attention. If you pay attention and give 100% its very easy and you will learn a lot.

He comes across as scary or mean, but he's a softy underneath. He's a sucker for chocolate, a positive attitude and a gret work ethic. He will work you hard. He will expect more from you. He will be as unforgiving as the people in the real world are so consider it training. If you can deal with that, he will teach you more than you can imagine.

Ray knows so much, and if you're willing to learn from him, he'll teach you a lot. He's not always the easiest to deal with and his class is often very demanding, but so worth it.
