I am a teacher today because of Ray Rich. He was my teacher way back in the 80's. I love this man. I think he has no idea. I got serious about school after his class. I picked up more credits. I got my first degree, then my second all the while I was applying things he taught me in the Winner's Club. There is not a better professor on this planet.

Professor Rich is amazing!!!! He was great, the class was so entertaining, and he gave me actual advice in the class that I use in my daily life. The lectures and videos are so much fun; and if you aren't too sensitive you will love his sense of humor!! :)

Ray made his class fun and interesting, you have to pay attention and actually be interested in his class to do well. Like most college classes, you get out of it what you put in. If you want to learn and be successful Ray gives you the tools, if you are expecting a good grade to just be given to you, you arent ready for college.

everyone seems to think ray rich is a great professor but personally i disagree. it's very difficult to teach yourself material, especially when he doesnt cover any of it in his lectures; some IRRELEVANT. i would much rather prefer a lecture on each chapter. if you're good at teaching yourself material&studying on your own this is the class for you

Prof. Rich is an incredible teacher and perhaps the best at CSN. I highly recommend his class. There were weekly quizzes, usually done in groups, and he lets you do one page of notes front and back that can be used on the quizzes. He also gives tons of extra credit - 3 page papers - that should ensure a high grade for anyone who completes them.

Great instructor! His lectures are always interesting and he tells great stories. No homework, midterm or final. Instead group quizzes each class period per chapter. He does not lecture directly from the textbook but his lectures are very relevant. Read the textbook and you will do great

Ray is the coolest teacher I have ever had as a college professor. The assignments were very clear and very little. He gives you multiple options to get a better grade via extra credit however he is not going to ride your ass for a grade. He treats you like an adult and as his peer/friend instead of a dictator.

One of the best prof. that CSN have. He truly have a passion for teaching and love every minute of it. I learned a lot from his class. Took this class even if it's not one of my prerequisites just to learn more from him. He got plenty give, and he try to give it through teaching life's lesson in his class. Ray Rich is one of the best. What sets him apart is that he applies what he's teaching and when you leave each class, you have psychology tools you can use to help you get further in life. I've taken classes at both UNLV and CSN and its tough to find a prof as gifted. I'm glad I found a prof who cares about both books and students as well.
