Ray is an excellent professor. The material is difficult , as expected it is a level 600 class. He is very willing to help anyone who comes to talk with him. Attendance isn't mandatory but good luck teaching yourself the material without some help. Inspired me to be interested in Graduate School & Research after almost dropping out.

The online Psych 101 class is an easy A. There are 24 quizes and two 5-point 1-page papers due. You must get a 9 or 10 to pass each quiz but can take each an unlimmited number of times until you pass and move on to the next quiz. You must wait 1 hour between each quiz or the TA will immediately email you threatening to expel you from the class with an F if you do it again. The expensive book bundle is not needed whatsoever. I had a cheap hard cover copy of the book and passed all 24 quizes in the first 6 weeks of class. It's too easy. If you want an easy A then take this class.

Terrible professor but nice guy. Notes and lectures are so disorganized and this is not a class that is easy to figure out by yourself. Exams are long and short essays and the readings never end. Only take this class if you want to put in 15+ a week and this is coming from a student with a 3.8 GPA.

Terrible class. I honestly learned nothing from these courses, and had to learn it from someone else. He teaches in an abstract way that is never clear. He was also rude to me when I went to his office hours. Unless you have to take this course, I would highly recommend not taking it.

Dr. Fleming is a true TEACHER. He engages his students with the material and wants them to learn (not memorize). In addition, Molly is an awesome TA. You'll have to work hard, but they're there to help. Great class.

Absolutely, hands-down one of the best professors I have ever had. He is very enjoyable and employs many breaks and jokes to lessen the strain of statistics...but he is beyond helpful and really wants students to learn. CHOOSE DR. FLEMING!

Ray Fleming genuinely enjoys teaching statistics, and it comes across to his students. He's eager to help everyone learn and understand the material. Definitely the best statistics professor you could ask for.

Needs to switch to well organized powerpoint slides. I think I could have taught the material from one of his 50 minute lectures in about 10 minutes. He's a nice guy though. I just wouldn't recommend the class.

He is an excellent teacher, his teaching style fosters creativity in his students. What you learn from his class you will not forget.
