Comment:

No prerequisite or hint for math in this class but is full of advanced level math. Teacher is bad at answering your questions and actually expects you to know the answers to your own questions. Have to buy an expensive book that isn't used at any point of the class and an Atlas that is only used a select few times.

I dropped this class 3 classes in. I could not stand this professor. He is very narcissistic and humiliates you in front of the entire class. He also requires 3 different textbooks. Strongly advise against.

I was hesitant to take his class based on reviews, but he is not as bad as everyone says. He challenges his students which is a good thing, and the work is not impossible. Get to know him outside the classroom; he is a different person then.

Worst teacher I've ever had. Makes you feel stupid for anything you raise your hand for. NEVER RESPONDS TO EMAILS OR ANYTHING ELECTRONIC FOR THAT MATTER. I have never hated a class so much in my life. Changes dates and rules for assignments without any type of warning. Do everything you can to avoid this man.

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. He is unclear on all assignments, does not explain the tests, makes you feel stupid for asking questions, and was gone the week before each test. His teaching style is horrible, and he doesn't treat students with respect. Personally, I told the department to fire him on my evaluation.

Do not take this professor. He is very rude and very unclear on all the assignments. He doesn't clarify when assignments are due and doesn't help on how to do them. You're just on your own. Attendance isn't mandatory. His classes are boring and he will get through one power point slide the whole class time. I do not recommend this professor.

unclear grader, rather arrogant attitude, lectures can be confusing. the course is pretty much good for learning ArcGIS software during labs. hard tests, but lets u use a crib sheet. worth it to get on his good side. to do that, sit in front and ASK QUESTIONS. hes kinda intimidating, but ASK ASK ASK questions. hes a no bullcrap guy, and i like that

This is the worse online class ever. I have not heard from this professor. I believe he is missing in action. It's an impossible amount of assignments. 3 weeks into the class and I still can't make contact with him. We the class are on our own. Do not take his class.

Dr. Greene was one of my favorite professors. Be sure to read the syllabus though. He is very good at moderating class discussion. It was fun because sometimes we would spend half the time discussing things instead of looking at power points. He is kind if you get to know him. Visit his office once or twice.

I'm not sure why Professor Greene received so many bad marks. I took his class as a freshman. I was motivated and followed the syllabus, and received high marks. His humor is different, if you play along you'll be fine. Outside of the classroom he is more approachable and made me feel comfortable. If you apply yourself in his class, you'll be okay.

This class was challenging but made me really think about the world in a completely new way. He is willing to help you if you come to his office hours with very specific questions. I found it very helpful to download a current event app on my phone and read it before class because he usually looks at the events right before class.

I dreaded each day that I went to class and eventually dropped the course. He was rude, made me feel stupid, and was very intimidating and pompous. I continually got more and more nervous each time he called on me because I knew I would end up feeling embarrassed because of his response to my answer. Avoid his class at all cost!

Not as horrible as everyone says, you just have to have a general idea of what is going on in the world. (dont be the girl who thinks Korea is in Africa). Also, be willing to think out of the box and discussions for a half hour about current news topics. The only thing i disliked was that he was not a loud talker.
