Comment:

Dr. Kozub is an excellent professor. The physics department at Tech is bad in general but he is definitely one of the best professors for physics. He is very kind and will work with you if you need help, inside or outside of class.

Had Kozub for lab and saw him 3 times, including the time I ran into him at Kroger. He let his TA oversee the lab, and the TA did a great job, but my tuition isn't paying for the TA, it's paying for HIM to be there and teach us. Condescending, thinks he's the smartest man in the entire physics department

Comment:

Tech has poor physics professors in general but Dr. Kozub wasn't too bad. A lot of homework and lectures are difficult. The grading scale is modified for the class so you should definitely pass, but unless you're great at physics don't expect an A. It's a hard subject and he doesn't make it easier. Just don't get behind and do you're best.

If you want to suffer your whole day struggling with bunch of equations that you might not understand, definitely take this class. The professor is nice, but never gives examples in class. If you want to get at least B, you better do the problems in the text book. Should take the online class instead

Don't take physics at Tech. Take it online, take it during the summer, take it elsewhere. Online Mastering Physics HW is a sadistic joke. The entirety of lectures are equation derivation, and not an example to be found. Take this course if you hate free time, happiness, sanity, or your life.

Do not take this professor he is a (insert word here). I took him for lab. He is not helpful and he is rarely in lab to answer questions. Physics 2110 and 2120 are a real mess but not completely because of professors. No problem recitation sections plus computerized homework make these courses quite difficult. Kozub also doesn't work many examples so expect to stumble a bit going from general concepts to specific problem solving.

Dr. Kozub is one of the most fun professors I've had for physics so far. He does a lot of deriving which is great for people who actually want to know where these formulas come from instead of just memorizing them. Doesn't us power point which is actually great and overall very helpful, anyone coming to him for help won't be shunned away.

The worst "teacher" I've ever had. Doesn't know how to use computers, teaches derivations only which is useless for tests, gives random amounts of online homework, and takes clicker quizzes each class for attendance. I take the quiz and sleep ro something. Expect to teach yourself. He does have old man funny moments though. Avoid.

This will only boost his ego, but Kozub and the rest of the Physics Department are worthless excuses for "teachers." You have to completely teach yourself. When he tries to help, he will look at you like your stupid. Not only that but whoever does think that he is good shouldnt be an engineer because you dont know right from wrong obviously!!!

Probably the best physics teacher at tech, but that doesnt say much. He really knows what he is doing but can be quite boring at times, at least he actually does problems on the board though and doesn't teach with powerpoint. You have to do the reading and keep up to pass his class.

Kozub is a pretty tough teacher. He absolutely flies through all of the material, but he gets his points across pretty well most of the time. You must pay very close attention to understand what is going on in this class though. His in class quizzes aren't that bad for the most part, but his exam questions are killer. Study up.
