Comment:

Very good at explaining difficult subjects. He can take a complex problem and show you how to break it down into a basic problem. Also, he doesn't assume you already know everything related to the subject as a lot of professors do. Only downside he and his TAs are very strict graders, any mistake you get points deducted.

I've only had Ray for Thermo so far, but I can't wait for fluids next semester knowing it's with him. He's a great professor; great teaching method, using lots of examples in and separate from the book. Develops a connection to his students; he takes it personally when students do poorly, and offers advice and hints where a struggle is apparent.

Ray is the best prof I have ever had. His classes are demanding but he puts in as much time and effort into the class as the students do. I wish he tought more classes so I could have him again. He has a good sence of humor and is personable. Always willing to help out and obciously loves what he does. A+ teacher!!!
