The toughest professor I ever had. He demanded excellence. If you weren't willing to give maximum effort he would roast you alive. Innovative, creative, and extremely witty and entertaining lectures. He will be missed.

This guy speaks incoherently. I recorded his class played it back wrote what he said and it made zero sense..I had my roommate listen and he couldn't figure it out either..He failed me now I'm retaking the class and will probably get a B or better...

He is knowledgable. He does know his stuff. But, he doesn't know how to get it across in an effective way. I have little motivation for a history class, but I have absolutely no motivation after his history class. This professor should only be taken by people truely interested in history. Others stay away!!!!!!!!!!!

Best at CMSU. Hardest part of test is essays and he give you the list he will select from a week before the test. HAVE ALWAYS been able to go to him outside of class for help. If you can't get an A or B from him .. drop out because you lack motivation.

So many funny comments about Dr. Leonard! Especially the dictator...ha ha. He is by far, the best professor at UCM. He is also the hardest. You need to decide WHY you are in school. Don't take hime to get an easy A. Take him so you will learn something...why are you here anyway???

If you are expecting an easy A it won't happen but an A is possible. He offers extra credit and study sessions before tests. A large portion of your grade on the tests will be from essays so you better know the information from the lectures. Don't skip class or you will not pass. I ended up really enjoying his class because he is so informative.

He acts like he is Satan, but really, he's just a big teddy bear. Just watch out for the questions he sets up to deliberately trick you. He derives pleasure from having everyone in the class miss the same questions and then saying "Take better notes." He does offer extra credit, so there is no reason to get a bad grade, just don’t expect an easy A.

This man is the most difficult professor on this campus. If you don't take notes and don't read you will get no grade higher than a D.He doesn't play. Average students should leave. If you don't do more than your best he will treat you like Lee Ermey did PVT Pyle. Learn to fear him and do what he wants and you'll be ok. A is possible but rare.

Very good teacher. He knows his stuff. His tests are hard, but gives you a lot of chances for extra credit if you take advantage of it. Easy to get a "B" if you do the extra credit, but an "A" is difficult to get.

Kinda dissapointing that we didn't get past WWII. Lecture style is entertaining and informative but unorganized and unclear. Grading is frustrating but seems to be fair. I fought hard for my A, but I think he helped me out a few points at the end of the semester.

So he's hard, well kiddies this is college. He has grad level material but hey he knows his stuff and he is well educated. He has entertaining lectures, and if you take good notes you will do very well in his class. You shouldn't even bother with the text and if you miss class its over, but give him a good effort and you get a good grade.

You will learn a lot in this man's class but his tests are HARD!!! They are multiple choice a-e (sometimes f) and the questions are set up to try and trick you. You either know the material like the back of your hand, or you get a D. He also has assinments that you aren't even allowed to attempt to get the points if your grade is below an A.
