Don't take this professor, she is condescending, passive aggressive, and when you need assistance and are not at the level that meets her standards/expectations (which many students aren't) she spends more time comparing you to other students and making you feel dumb than she does helping you get to where you need to be.

Mel Moore pushes you to do the best that you can do. Yes, her standards are high, but it's worth it in the scheme of things. She can be harsh at times and makes you aggravated. In the end, she just wants you to be the best you could absolutely be.

Mel is nice, but treats her students like middle schoolers. Her class has no structure and she doesn't use PowerPoint. Most discussions are round-table and student run. A lot of time was spent with us answering questions about the material in front of the class. Beware: the tests have trick questions. Overall, I don't feel like I learned much.

First online class I ever took, and I regret it so bad because Melanie decided to make this class harder then it actually should be. I think she complicates the exams so you are set to fail, I thought this class would be easy but noooo. - makes no exceptions -test are beyond hard

There is no structure in the lectures. She doesn't make a lot of sense and can be very disrespectful in her grading comments and to her students. You are better off using the textbook to teach yourself.

She does not care about the student's understanding of the material at all. When asked for clarity, she claims, "I'm not trying to make the questions confusing." Well Mel, YOU DO!!!! I have ever had a professor that wants students to fail, more than she does. Never take her classes EVER!!!!!!

There is no structure to the class. She does not teach. She uses student run discussions to teach the topics that she should be teaching herself. Tests are graded unfairly and she if very one sided about essay answers. Does not try to understand students She is not flexible with students and treats us like grade schoolers and expects college work.

I really appreciated Dr. Moore's good attitude and humor in her online lectures and in emails. She set very clear and manageable expectations for the class that were not difficult to follow through with. A lot of the class was discussion based which was very nice. I really liked her and the class and would recommend it.

She is a horrible professor. In class she is impossible to understand and really does not give constructive criticism, just mean criticisms. I thought taking an online class would be different. Nope. She's just as unhelpful and rude. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Just don't do it...lecture is pretty pointless, she has no structure, outline-rambles and mumbles, hard to follow and take notes and tests are hard. I like the subject, but the class set up makes it hard to enjoy.

There is almost no reason to ever attend lecture, as she uses no powerpoint and there is no clear outline of material covered. Taking notes = impossible. She mumbles (it's hard for me to understand, and I sit near the front) and goes off on tangents. I love this subject, and she is nice, I just wish the class were better.

I took her online class. All I can say is timed tests. 33 questions, 30 minutes. Her tests are only available to take on ONE day from 7am-7pm...hopefully you don't have a job, hence why I took an online class. She grades your discussion board, no feed back at all, you just get what you get. Tests have questions repeated...not sure the point of that

Extremely hard to work with and to schedule out of class appointments with. Acts like her time is the only time that matters. Takes pleasure in humiliating some students. Hard to understand and handwritten corrections on drafts are impossible to read. You are not a doctor!! Quit writing like one. Avoid her at all costs

Horrible professor. Cold as ice- doesn't care about the student on an individual basis. Has really dumb tests that don't test whether or not you know the overall material- has nit-picky questions that are total bs. Do NOT take her.
