Comment:

Dr Dunn is a great person with a wonderful personality. But as a teacher, I would not recommend. It takes weeks, even over a month to get test grades back, she skims important stuff and talks about random stuff thats never on the tests in class. Her assignments are vague and hard to figure out because of how little instruction is given.

Comment:

Dr. Dunn is so sweet! I was happy to have taken BIO 100 with her, and I hope I will have another course with her as my instructor. Cell and Molecular biology is not easy, but if you pay attention to lectures, take good notes and do the assignments you should do just fine. I highly recommend her.

I didn't find her class difficult at all, very similar to my high school classes, but I know a lot of people struggled (it was a weeding class though). I recommend studying! Do not put it off with bio courses. She's very sweet and always willing to help. She was always funny and tries to make a lot of jokes if she knows the lecture is boring.

I took her Bio 100 course my first year at Salem. She seemed more than willing to help students that took the time to actually care, but now (as a senior) I dread having to take a class by her. She gives tests back weeks after you turn them in, very vague when assigning major projects or papers, and seems to care less whether you actually pass.

Dr. Dunn's BIOL 100 class is not easy. It is definitely designed to weed out slackers who think they want to be Bio majors. Her tests are intense but fair. She does her job well and knows her stuff. Unfortunately she does have a BO problem so watch out when you call her over to answer a question in the lab. =D

She is a terrible reflection on Salem. I had her for Zoology several years ago and she was completely unhelpful. Once I went to her office for help and she wouldn't even turn around in her chair...she continued to play a computer game!
