Comment:

One of the best profs I've ever had. Challenging and makes you think. He's enthusiastic, creative, and seems to enjoy teaching. Class participation is important to him so make sure you come prepared, although the amount of reading can be too much. He's a great guy and very helpful.

Comment:

Best prof in Asper. Much of your mark is based on class participation, but the classes are so interesting that this does not seem like a chore. It is somewhat of a time consuming class, but worth it. You actually learn in this class, unlike many classes in Asper which only ask you to regurgitate a textbook.

Outstanding professor. Does an amazing job at facilitating discussion and looking at things in an interesting way. Course itself is very interesting. Heavy weight on presentations and participation. Class readings are interesting. Almost everyday we watched part of a film or movie. Guest lecturers came frequently. One of the best classes @ Asper.

Reg Litz is the best professor in the asper school of business. I have learned more from him in one class than i have throughout my whole degree. If you ever have the opporutnity to take ANY class with him, and you actually care about business unlike the comments below, take his class. be prepared to read, discuss, and learn....

Really friendly guy and great prof. His classes require a lot of work, in prepping for each class (readings for each day) and for assignments. Really interesting material, like psych, family issues, and business combined. He uses a variety of really interesting methods for teaching and puts as much work into the class as he expects from students.

The amount of reading he gives is unrealistic, and you can not miss one day of reading or you lose "participation" marks and have to put up a red card. He doesnt explain it clearly in the first couple classes, I think to weed some people out. But then you find out you can choose where your marks come from eg 50% Participation. Great prof

Reg's class is the best class I couldve taken to learn about small BIG BUSINESS. Reg is clear, organized, fair, and a very detailed personna when he teaches. Today, I run my own business, I always hear Reg's words in my mind, such as GROWTH is not necessarily the best thing, or WATCH WHAT Variables affect the bottomline. I LOVED THE VIDEOSANDVISITS

I found Reg's Small Business class to be one of the most interesting and educational classes that I took in my degree. He teaches real life issues instead of the textbook BS that you get in most courses. His teaching methods were incredibly effective and creative. I strongly recommend taking a class with him.

Litz is the best professor I have ever had. His teaching style holds your attention and sticks in your mind. He uses a tremendous variety of teaching aids including in-class videos, tons of discussion, and interesting handouts. He almost never "lectures" but rather lets you discuss.
