Comment:
Dr. Bob is a nice person, and pretty laissez faire in class, usually topics go pretty slowly so you can catch up if you miss some classes. What made this class hard is how focused the tests are on how you word answers and exact numbers so it's easy to lose lots of points on simple calculations.

if you want to have a boring professor, choose him. His homework are very boring, you doing the same question over and over again, in addition, he never change his power points for like years. he doesn't really explain how to use JMP and he grades homework hard. He is overrated. but you can pass the class with a pretty good grade if you take it.

Dr. Bob is a cool guy and very knowledgeable about stats and JMP. Enthusiastic and patient. Ask for help during the labs if you need it - he's more than willing. Refer back to his lecture slides often, especially for exams & projects. Come to class, pay attention, keep all the handouts (and there will be a lot) and don't bother with the book.

I've had him 3 semesters in a row and I can't stand him anymore. He doesn't respond kindly to questions, isn't helpful, and is overall very rude. I'd take someone else.

Good teacher. Has quizzes at least once a week, somtimes twice, to force class attendance. Quizzes are usually worth 3 points, many are treated as extra credit. His tests are challenging and you MUST know the material. It's impossible to guess. His homework assignments are awful, usually taking 2-4 hours to complete. Attend exam review session.

EASY Class, easier than Calculus 1. as long as you did okay on stat101 you will be fine. he's willing to help you so much, he has 4 office hours days. emphasize the concepts. no hard stuffs to understand. if you don't get, you can memorize and get A. Project takes time but those are pieces of cake. all the lecture note are up but, better attend cls

He is a very nice guy. His lectures put me to sleep. The class was pretty easy, but since I have zero interest in the subject, I thought it was very boring. He seemed to be better than the other teachers (TAs mostly) for the other stat sections, so I'd recommend him if you have a strong interest in stat, or need a nap in the middle of your day.

Fun profesor who is very excited about statistics. Tests are challenging - but you will leave understanding the material and with a knowlege of the stat program JMP which is helpful from anyone into stat. Good profesor with a lot of examples and even a joke here and there. Definately recommended!

Great prof with a mean streak on tests. Getting an 80%=quite do-able. Getting a 95%+ = holy something or other batman.
