DO NOT TAKE ANY MATH CLASSES WITH HER. Very poor instruction. Not helpful outside of the classroom. Dry, boring and unclear. I had the misfortune of taking 2 different math classes with her and I regret it. I am a good student but with her, I received the lowest grades I have in my collegiate career.

First off, if you need this to transfer into SOM, TAKE AT COMMUNITY COLLEGE! If you can't, take her over Perry no matter what. Brewster is a very nice teacher, and pretty good at teaching her subject. But do not underestimate Math220 because it is "business calc." I did. Her tests are extremely difficult. Very hard class. Got a B bc of office hrs.

Her teaching style is very boring, she shoot ahead with the material without taking into account if anyone understands her. The test are way harder than the HW and class material. She is not helpful outside of her class, and is not supportive or nice to her students.

Brewster is awesome. She's very helpful and cares about her students. She's awkwardly funny but her class is enjoyable. Its a math class so it can get boring but she's very clear in her explanations and keeps confusion to a minimum. Highly recommend taking this class with her as she write the book for it.

There are many material in this class, so be sure u do ur homework. But her lecture is very clear. Though she don't record the attendance, u should show up,cuz her class is helpful. Practice more on the homework, u will be good on the test.

Possibly one of the worst classes I have ever had to take. Everyone in the class is either taking it pass/fail or has withdrawn already. If you do have to take a class with her, do NOT take it at 8:30am, as she will instantly put you to sleep.

Good teacher. Learn a lot more then I expected to be able to apply in real life. Would definitely take her again. KEY strategy: Do all assignments she gives you. Most likely the test questions will mirror the ones in the "supplementary" homework.

Jean was my favorite teacher to date at Bing. I struggled through the class because im not strong in math but she was very helpful during office hours and really cares about people who are willing to try hard. Do the homeworks and make sure you understand every problem, that will help out A LOT on tests.

If you need to take calculus take business calc with jean. She's a good teacher in the respect that you can understand her if you pay attention. Go to class everyday because she takes attendance and its worth a grade. Tests are usually curved 15-20 pts. Its definitely a manageable class. Do the problems in the book, will help you on the test.

She is a great teacher. She is very helpful and will help anyone who is having trouble. Shes also a very fun teacher and a great person. Pay attention and do (and understand) your homework and you will do fine. I have also heard she is a good calc teacher as well. I definately would recommend her.

Wonderful person inside and outside of class. Very patient, clear, concise, and easy to follow. Shes down to earth and easy to talk to in office hours and willing to talk regarding anything. Requires studying and is NOT a baby class, but she is definitely willing to help you.
