Comment:

Took online. 100% self taught but still easy. She posts syllabus at the beginning of the year & weekly itineraries so you always know what's due. 10 discussion posts, 4 online exams, online HW every week. Gives good feedback on discussions. I hate ECO but got an 99%. You need to buy the online code for the textbook & myEconLab for sure though.

TWK, online. TON of weekly work, moves quickly, zero actual teaching. Is 100% self taught with no help/guidance from professor. I told her that I was struggling and she told me to watch online videos. I needed direct teaching from her, but did not get it. She did not offer office hours. Rated one only because can't give a zero. Will not take again.

Take her (especially if this is a mehh subject for u)! She really wants to see her students do well and makes the material easy to understand. If you show you are trying, she helps. tips: Read the ch's, use study guides, turn in assignments and you'll do great. Plenty of EC opport if your grade isn't where you want it. Great class - two thumbs up!

As a person, she's really nice. She's understanding. As a professor, it could be worse. She takes forever to reply to e-mails, and her teaching is the kind of hand holding that you don't understand when you do it on your own. Homework is easy, but the tests are really different from the homework which makes them hard. I didn't learn anything.

Professor Cassady is really nice, when you're in class it will seem like you understand things but when you leave the homework and test on MindTap are really hard . She gives extra credit and is willing to work with you if you want to better your grade. She isn't a bad professor but sometimes the work in class doesn't match the work online.

Do not take class with her!! She assigns A LOT of homework, and nothing she says in class is useful for the homework or the tests which are pretty complicated. You have to read the book and study on your own if you want to pass. She might understand econ, but she doesn't have knowledge when it comes to anything else.

She is an AWFUL professor. Unless you want to teach yourself, don't take her class. I did it hybrid and I realized that I had never learned anything when i got to the tests, and I never missed a day of class. Turning in every assignment and all of the extra credit should help you.

she has an absurd grading system that doubles the penalty for a wrong answer. many assignments were scheduled with due dates for the wrong class section. she set the date for the second exam two days beforehand without allowing for people to arrange their schedules if they work full time i had to drop the class or fail, completely unreasonable

Worst teacher you will ever have. She doesn't care about her students, she pretends. I emailed her multiple times and everytime she always made herself look right. I didnt send a graph she gave me a 50 yet my classmates got 100. She doesn't teach just makes you a115 for aplia and kills you with the homework.

I took a hybrid class with cassady and hated it. She wane for the last half of the semester for surgery which did not make things easier. The test swere really hard and had material on them that werent in the assigned chapters. take econ but not with her! she was also horrible about emailing back.

She knows her stuff but it doesn't really make an impact on students. I felt like everything had to be done alone including teaching. Her aplia and blackboard is just plain confusing. She doesn't really have a clear syllabus. Prepare to do a lot of hw and written assignment. DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS if your not good at keeping track and organize.

This profesor is ridiculus, and more ridiculus is the class. I took macro economics online. I heard the class is hard itself, so adding up that I took it with this professor and online totally set me up for faliure. Therefore, whatever you do don't take the class online and, dont I repeat don't take it with cassady. She is the devil on earth...

She is very nice and expresses her views that make sense while provoking thought. However, it is very easy to fall behind and become lazy. Her lectures do not represent the tests and quizzes. Just based on that fact, I regard it as a hard class. HW load is OK. Lots of written assignments that need to be done. She does not check email often, either.

Her lectures does not help with quizzes and tests which we do on McGraw-Hill's Connectã?? I had hard time in her class. Her opinions on political are expressed thoroughly. Still, not an excellent teacher. She rarely replies emails. You really have to spend a lot of extra time to learn on your own

I love her political point of view and she offers a lot of extra credit which helps, but do not get behind on your homework or you'll never catch up. Overall, she's amazing, because the assignments help you understand how to use economics in real world situations. The best economics professor at Valencia!!!

If you're not prepared to do ALOT of work, and i mean a really good amount, then dont take the class. Started using online program for quizzes which is nice so all quizzes are open book, written assignments are easy, Several hw assignments, quiz on every chapter, and 4 tests which weren't too bad. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT! I got an A for it!
