Professor Van Epps is excellent. She makes you work for your grade but if you put in the work she teaches you what you need to know. Shes opinionated but very good at what she does and knows. Shes definitely not for the college students that do not want to work. Heavy homework load, but nothing no one can handle. I would take her again.

One of my first college classes I've ever taken, and it was online. I was nervous, but Professor Van Epps made everything easy to understand. Yes, she is not a Professor who is going to hand you a grade, but as long as you keep up with up with the work and cite, you will be okay! Also, she made me feel like I was in an actual class.

Van Epps is an amazing teacher! She really knows what she is teaching and tries very hard to get through to students. She believes in equal work; therefore, if you are in a group project and one person does not do any work, tell her and she will give them a zero! She helps you receive good grades and gives good life lessons. Van Epps is worth it!!

Professor Van Epps can be tough, she takes her class very seriously and doesn't put up with disrespectful students. She is very passionate about what she teaches and what she believes. This isn't a class to slack off in, but working hard won't be unpleasant either, keeps it interesting, gets everyone involved. Very professional and thorough.

She was one of the best teachers I have ever had. Anytime I had a question or concern she was available and helpful. She made my transition back to college an enjoyable experience. I will say this, in order to pass her class you must work hard and efficiently. She is a stickler for making sure her students don't plagiarize, so don't plagiarize!

Professor VanEpps was not my English 101 teacher, but going into her English 102 was a smooth transition. She clearly states her guidelines and expectations, and offers plenty of help along the way for confusion that may arise. She presents the content in a fun and interesting way, and you will learn a lot in her class!

The absolute worst professor I've had. She praised my writing during the drafting process and then smacked a zero on the final copy without explanation. She's politically biased and will headhunt you if you disagree. If you are a yes man who loves getting zeros after hours of work you are both a sadist and a perfect fit for her classes.

I took Van Epps my first semester ever at ACCC in the cmc branch. She is a great teacher, but she really makes you work hard for your grade. Homework is a must in this class along with participation and attendance. She is good with responding to emails.

I took Professor Van Epps's English 101 class online. At first she seemed tough and mean, but then I realized everyone online seems tough and mean. She turned out to be extremely kind and helpful. The material was organized and clearly explained. Do the assignments on time, participate, and ask questions if you need to, and you'll do fine.

I would not recommend this professer. She is an extremely tough grader, very moody & puts down students in front of the entire class. I was appalled by some of the things that came out of her mouth. She gives so much homework, it was hard to keep up w my 3 other classes. She puts you in group activities & gives quizzes every class.

Mrs Van Epps is the most helpful teacher i have had for english she knows alot. Although she can be very strict, it is her class and she has a right to throw people out for texting and whatnot. She is very moody though & can be rude at times, but usually to people who do not do what they are suppose to. she taught me alot for 101and 102

I really enjoyed having Regina. She is very strict and strong-willed. I have noticed that the people who have problems in her class are those who are not paying attention or are not taking the coursework seriously. Over all, I have enjoyed both classes I had with her.

Prof VE is a wonderful professor. She wants her students to learn and is more than willing to teach them. Be warned though, if you can not write using proper English, you will not do well in this class. But, it is an English course, so that is to be expected. If you want to learn, and become a better writer, this is the prof for you!

She gives a ridiculous amount of homework, as if you have no life outside her class. Her instructions are unclear, and heads up she calls the text book "The Hacker" (the author's last name)and doesn't tell you that she means the textbook which is actually titled "writer's Reference"Watch out because she insults students anonymously on announcements
