He is a really good professor and he knows what he is talking about. I took oceanography and it was BORING! He gives quizzes which are all extra credit and they saved my life. You have to come to class he will never tell you when he is going to give a quiz

Dr. Cobett is very interested in what he teachers. He loves to have the class laguh by making jokes, making unplanned puns, and his ridiculous model drawings. He is such a great professor. He moves through powerpoint slides fast but if you pay attention and stay alert you'll be fine. He reviews all material before quizzes at the end of a chapter.

very cool guy, knows alot about what he is talking about. its a very interesting class though 2 hours he keeps it entertaining. love to talk about where he has been and if you can get him off topic he will go off on an add talk to waste time. pay attention, look at the slides, show up for extra credit and you will get an A, easily.

I really like the class (Oceanography) but if you take it beware it is a 2 hour lecture. Even though he is easy on the eyes I cant seem to keep my eyes open. If the lecture wasnt so long it would be better. Test come straight from powerpoints and quizzes (that he gives every other class period). He really loves what he does. I would recommend him.

He has got to be one of the hottest teachers I have ever seen! Not only that, but he is really excited about what he teaches and ahs a lot of energy for being up at 8 int he morning. His tests are dircetly from the notes, and I didn't have a hard time at all in this class. The lowest test grad ei amde was a 95.

This class was pretty boring at times, but it wasn't always that way. Dr. Corbett is a very good looking man so sometimes you might find your self staring. Hes very helpful and does give pop quizes so i would go to class even though he doesnt take attendance. Tests are fairly easy. Just read your notes.

Dr. Corbett is extremely helpful in and out of class. I had him at 8am for Ocenaography and nearly half the class was sleeping or on facebook the whole time. He does get frusturated when noone participattes, so humor him even with a retarded question and youll be in good standing. Plus, all his lectures are online. Oh yeah, hes a surfer too!!

He is a great teacher. Really helpful because he gives you the questions for the quizzes and the quizzes make up the exam. I never paid attention to him and still got an A on everything. There is a project but it is the easist thing in the world. Take him!

I've actually never had him as a teacher, but I seriously considered revising my schedule to try to get into one of his classes. Im sure oceanography isnt one of the most interesting classes, but I would sit through a two hour class EVERY day as long as I got to stare at him the whole time. He has to be the hottest professor on campus!!

I didn't really know what to expect with this class. The lecture is EXTREMELY boring and you honestly don't need to go to class to do well on the exams. BUT I do go anyways. There is a group project that is easy. AND he is the best looking teacher I have ever had in my entire life!!!

This class isn't what I thought, but it's okay. Unfortunately, he's really boring with his powerpoint lectures. He gets really excited and tries, but he can't make it interesting.
