Ren puts questions on each test or quiz that we don't cover and aren't in the book or his powerpoints. He doesn't respond to emails. Each night you have class, you'll either have a test or a quiz. You don't want to miss class (he has a sign in sheet every night) and you definitely want to study. He doesn't post grades online. Book is required.

This professor is a marine biologist and seems to have a hard time teaching the basic material for Bio 100. He is a nice guy, but seems to stumble over his words a lot and gets a little timid when it comes to the human anatomy. Every test or quiz has questions that we didn't go over and had to be thrown out. He doesn't post grades online.

The most enjoyable class I had last semester. He explained well, and was funny at times. We did have a few disruptive students in the class that would not shut-up! Let people ask real questions instead.

Lectures are kinda boring. Gives you notes copy/paste from his powerpoints that kind of help you on tests. Goes off to work on NOAA trips alot. Missed an entire section for our class so a substitute teacher was teaching us prior to a test (teaching us stuff that he didn't want us to know). Reviews for tests. Dont take him.

Took it over the summer, and seemed rushed at times, but prof. did cramm all material in three-hour lecture! Gave us 10 min break though. I did not mind it so much as he tried to keep it lively. Better than average prof. Would probably recommend more for regular semester

Fair grader, nice guy, some material a little tough, but thats just the class. Can be a little behind but is a full time biologist outside class, so I give him props. Overall interesting and easy. I'll be scoring an easy A. If you don't study, I'll expect a bad review, doesn't make him a bad teacher.

he was probably the worst teacher ive ever had. i could never understand him i think he may have had an accent, not too sure, he tried to act like he was still in college sometimes which was hilarious, but he was and ok grader. he does give you some opportunities and i worked my hardest but i still didnt get a's. i just dont suggest him

Great Professor. Really made the class interesting and fun. Extremely helpful and willing to work with anyone so they get the grade they want. Always trying to help students out. Really nice guy and extemely funny. Tests are reasonable and gives bonusquestions. Wish I could take him again. It was my favorite class of the semester.

Showed up late everyday. Wasn't helpful, Notes online but they didn't help and neither did going to class. Lab practicals were really hard and test were too. Quizzes helped grade. Really slack professor who just didn't care about students.

Gives notes in class that are not included in the online notes, and then show up on the test. Watch out. MOST of the time tells you what will be on tests. Quizzes r hard. Failed a couple, but did well in the class.
