Comment:

Professor Kingcaid is a kind, funny, and energetic woman. She loves French and she loves her students, to the point where she will go out of her way to talk to them about their interests outside the classroom and even attend events (like choir concerts) that her students are in. Do the homework (even though you don't have to) and you'll be fine.

Comment:

She's a nice person, but her classes are basically a review of the homework- which she never actually checks. All her assignments are based off of the textbook, yet she sometimes gives rules that contradict the textbook. One big thing: she's quite unorganized, and always tells the class what will be on her exam the day before. New material on exam.

I love professor Kingcaid!She's absolutely hilarious! Sometimes it is hard for her to stay on topic, but somehow she always relates it to French culture so it is ok. Her class is easy and you rarely ever have homework.

I really like Madame Kingcaid. She's super nice and her 111 class is much easier than high school french ever was. The downside of her class is I feel like i've learned very little and have told my mom from time to time that "I think I've gotten worse at French".. if you're looking for an easy class this is the one to take

She is so disorganized and as others have said, she always imposes her liberal opinions into every class discussion. Many people like her, but I could not stand going to her class, I feel like I learned nothing.

Madame Kinkaid teaches a fairly easy Elementary French class. She has a hard time stayin on topic, and we learn a LOT of culture and a little amount of actual French. Which was a plus in my case. Her tests are sometimes very difficult because she doesn't cover the material well, but it's a relatively easy course, and she's very nice.

Worse class ever!!!! I've never been in a more useless class. She rarely ever talks about French. All she talks about is her political views, and how everyone who thinks differently is wrong. If she wants to talk politics, teach a political science class.

Best class I've had at SMC thus far!! Madame is truly one of the best professors on campus. If only more professors would structure their classes like her's and be as willing to help!! So happy I had her to help transition from two years of h.s. french to college.
