Professor Haigwood is so awesome. She is so helpful and willing to work with you. The papers are really interesting and worth writing about. Haigwood gives awesome feedback and always encourage you to go to the writing center. In the W class you will write/ type a lot of papers, but she is always willing to help any student. I adore her so much.

I had Haigwood a year ago and she is by far the easiest professor I've had at Saint Mary's. I honestly barely read the books and I got nothing less than a B on her essay assignments. It's easy to get distracted in class as all we did was discuss the books like any other ordinary basic literature class. I admit I think she's a little *too* nice.

I absolutely adore Prof. Haigwood. She is an excellent teacher who I recommend to everyone. You definitely need to do the reading bc class discussions are very fundamental. Take advantage of the extra-credit opportunities and office hours!

Professor Haigwood is AMAZING. She is SO kind, gentle, and knowledgeable. If you can't come to her office hours but want to meet with her before a paper is due, she will make it happen. She wants to see her students become better writers. I don't like to share in class, but she loves whatever you have to say... she's so cute.

Prof. Haigwood is one of the best out there! She is humorous and engaging while still incredibly knowledgable. She cares about each student and will go out of her way to help in any possible manner. She runs most of her classes casually, more like a book club than a graded course. It makes for a fun, enlightening course!

wonderful teacher. I have had her for 5 classes and wish i could take more under her. she is one of the rare teachers whose aim is actually to benefit her students and her classes are quite enjoyable with lots of class discussion.
